The staff were very kind and helpful, truly among the best you can find. The rooms are spacious and spotless, and the bathroom was also very clean, with a shower large enough to enjoy a comfortable, relaxing experience. Overall, it's one of the best hotels in Zagora!

We appreciated the very warm and friendly reception and the place is well organized for both dinner and breakfast. All staff members were friendly and the food was good. Dining areas were nice, both outside and inside. Our room was fine, complete with a small balcony looking over the pool area and fully functional bathroom. This place has a real homey feel to it. We loved it. I got the feeling that the other "customers" (and there were many) were happy as well. It was a bit of a rough and narrow drive to reach from the main road, but there was parking available and it was well signposted. The local guide arranged by the hotel was very nice, but we didn’t appreciate the “shopping” experience which was part of the tour. (I would suggest that the guide asks at the beginning whether the guests are interested in shopping.)

Everything! Not one part of our stay with this Riad disappointed us. People are great, food was great and all around the stay was amazing. We did the tour to the desert with them and it was absolutely worth it! I cannot express more how much it was all incredible.

There was nothing I didn't like on arrival and during my stay at the new Zagora Oasis Lodge. Nestled behind a traditional abode enclosed earth wall is a tranquil Palm oasis. Entering into this private Palmerie was akin to stepping into another world far from the madding crowds I had left in Marrakech. The natural, traditional rammed earth architecture has been beautifully renovated and attention to detail is evident, often an oversight in Morocco, it was such a pleasure to find everything so pleasing to the eye. After a long drive through the Atlas Mountains and Draa Valley, to be able to arrive at such a welcoming and relaxed place in a unique 'other worldly' setting felt heaven sent ! The rooms are of Moroccan Riad quality with stylish attention to detail. King size beds with high quality bed linens and beautiful decorative items. A/C that also doubles as a heater was a welcome offering during my stay in February as the early mornings can be cool. You can see and feel that the local owners have put much considered thought into this place for the comfort of their visitors, so much so that I returned to extend my stay before returning to Marrakech after a Desert Tour to the towering dunes of Erg Chigaga, which the lodge also offers and provides. This is the place to stay if you are travelling to and exploring the Southern Saharan region. A place that will stay forever in my memory and one I intend to return to with friends for an extended stay. Stylish, authentic and traditional is a heady Moroccan accommodation mix for sure. Thank you all for a magical stay.
