A days drive from Marrakesh through the Rose Valley took us to Bab El Atlas where we stayed for the night. A gem of a place with a view of snow capped mountains in the distance, beautifully decorated rooms with Moroccan Rugs, furniture, the small aesthetic touches all add to the experience. The food was exceptional, a set menu for dinner with delicious lamb and vegetable tagines and a desert, on the terrace, where we had some lovely Moroccan Rose and a super breakfast the next morning with local cheese(Jben), pancakes, a selection of jams and breads. Brigette, the owner , was there during our stay and she was interesting to converse with, warm and hospitable like the staff who are very well trained and they took every opportunity to make our overnight stay memorable.

The location is ideal for those looking to enjoy nature and tranquility, yet it is still close to major tourist attractions. *View*: The view from the hotel is stunning, with surrounding mountains and beautiful gardens. The panoramic scene in the early morning or at sunset was truly enchanting. Overall, the experience at Dar Messa was wonderful, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kelaat Mgouna.

One of the best places I ever stayed! The rooms are super clean, comfortable, and very well decorated. Younes, the host is an amazing human. He offered to cook us dinner and we went with him to the market to pick up the ingredients and did a cooking class with him. We cooked tajine in the kitchen and had a lovely dinner at the terrace. Breakfast was also amazing - the best one in all of our trip in Morocco. If you ever decide to stay in this town, this is the place to be.
