The house and the surroundings were beautiful, garden flowers in pretty vases all through the house, simple and elegant decor. 2 Swinging chairs looking out through a big window in the hall, I just sat and read with a coffee watching the rain. House slippers left so you didn't walk in with wet, dirty shoes xx

Lovely, quiet and very green location, close to river lake and Cesis. Bed (even tho it’s a sofabed) VERY comfortable, in fact probably the best sleep we’ve had in long time. Kitchen has all that’s needed for cooking basic breakfasts and dinners. I love that’s there’s mosquito net on window, so we could sleep with window fully open and enjoy sound of rain and birds chirping.. and no traffic. Host even hooked us up with wifi, thanks! We loved to stay here so much that we even extended our time here, and again the host was very helpful and accommodating.

The room has literally everything you need. You can buy snacks and beverages at the reception even when the retaurant/bar is closed. And I liked the parrot who lives next to the reception.
