I had a wonderful stay at Royal Lion in Galagadara. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, and clean, with stunning mountain views that make your stay feel peaceful and relaxing. The food was also delicious — freshly prepared and full of flavor. The staff was very friendly, polite, and always ready to help. The house is beautifully decorated and just a short tuk-tuk ride from the city center. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and clean. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Best location i have stayed yet in Sri Lanka. This pearl has everything you need. The bed is great, the shower is gorgeous and the personel is the best i’ve seen yet. They will help you with literally anything you need and wil accomodate it for you. If something on the menu is not like your taste, they can change it to your own liking. They have a beautiful big tent on the outside of the hotel, which has a bathtub, AC and literally everything you need. There are no downsides i could mention. Like i have said…. The building and garden are beautiful with lots of outdoor areas including a sparkling pool. Our suite was very spacious with a king bed, a kitchenette, a table set for 2, and plenty of seating in a relaxing area. There is a lovely en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower with good pressure and hot water. The dining room is very spacious and comfortable with a Chef preparing fresh meals to your specifications. The bed was super comfortable with 100% pure cotton linen and 2 comfortable pillows per person. Soft towels, 1 large, 1 smaller are provided per person and there are bathroom amenities provided. There is a hairdryer as well. This family-run boutique hotel is a gem in Kandy with a most wonderful, kind, warm, and friendly family running it themselves. Even the children get involved. Your comfort and happiness are their primary concern. There is a security man at night to see you in if you arrive back late. They washed our car before we left as an added value. Saying goodbye was hard and I will always remember this lovely home from home in Kandy.💕💕💕♥️♥️♥️
