We enjoyed everything about this stay! For us this place was great to explore sights nearby Kandy, as well as a region around Sigiriya. Afterwards it was pleasant to return to the hotel and have a rest away from noise and rush. There were everything we needed in the room. Dinners and breakfasts were delightful. There is plenty of wildlife around the hotel that you can meet. We found management of the hotel very professional and attentive. It is impossible to describe all about the villa and facilities of the hotel in short review. We can just advise to stay here if you are traveling in Sri Lanka.

I had a wonderful stay at Royal Lion in Galagadara. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, and clean, with stunning mountain views that make your stay feel peaceful and relaxing. The food was also delicious — freshly prepared and full of flavor. The property is in a perfect place for a sunrise view with mountains right in front of you once you wake up with a nice pool ! The peacocks and the other animals are around you in their normal habitat making it a great experience as well as the breakfast is served in a massive floating platter. The bed is comfortable and the villa is perfect for family or a friends. The breakfast and the dinner was great lots of variety !

In the middle of the nature, beautiful garden full of tropical fruits, great people, nice pool. We have been there unfortunately only 1 night because we already booked next hotel before we arrived, otherwise we would stay much longer. We enjoyed it very much. And breakfast was so big we couldnt eat it 😂

Very spacious rooms, we even had a big kitchen. The room was more of an apartment than a hotelroom. Internet was fast and stable - something lacking often in Sri Lanka hotels. Nice breakfast, and excellent help with getting us early to the trainstation.

The property was beautiful - especially the big garden and flawless pool. The staff thought of everything to make our trip smooth and enjoyable - even packing us lunch for our journey to Ella. The bathroom and bedroom were clean, spacious and beautiful.

Hotel was amazing and clean. Atmosphere and rooms were great with Sri Lanka art and decorations. Personnel was great and wery helpful even if we had some problems with our booked day trip. They offered us extra towels for bool. Breakfast was also amazing and there is two options as Sri Lankan and western option.
