I had a wonderful stay at the Peridot Hotel! The cleanliness of the entire guest house was truly impressive — everything was spotless and well-maintained. The hospitality was exceptional; the staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. It felt like a home away from home. I’ve stayed in many beautiful hotels in my life - I LOVE beautiful hotels and want to try the best hotels around the world as I’m a very frequent traveller. I can honestly say that this hotel is OUTSTANDING - the service is incredible!! I was upgraded and given a complimentary late check out! This is incredible and I’m so grateful!!! The room is ABSOLUTELY stunning - everything is SO COMFORTABLE! It’s perfect and waking up to the most beautiful ocean views is wonderful 🌺🌸🌼 I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Colombo! Don’t stay anywhere else!! If I should come back to Colombo, I would stay here again in any case. The hotel shines with its cleanliness and is very professionally run. The room has everything and everything works perfectly. The staff was very friendly and supportive. I felt like I was in a 5-star hotel here. The closeness to the beach is brilliant. You can reach the ocean in just 2 minutes walking distance and have a beautiful beach for walking and swimming. On the other hand, you are not just in a touristic part of the city and have various local shopping facilities and restaurants right on your doorstep. The location is very quiet and the singing of the birds makes you feel like you're not in the big capital. The internet is very fast and working the whole time. The breakfast was very delicious.

Everything is just perfect here. You dont feel like you are staying in a hotel, feels more like at some close relatives house. Owner and the people who are working here Saliya and Silva are just perfect, the hospitality is just amazing😊 Breakfast are so tasty. All hotel is very cleal. Wonderful thing is that if you are staying in deluxe room all the floor is yours with balcony and additional room. On the top of that sea is so close🤟 Highly recommended.

Watumulla is really close to the Ocean, the beach is...

Watumulla is really close to the Ocean, the beach is stunning, and the bars great. There is a dive School (October to May) just north and the Mount Lavinia does incredible buffet lunches. Nothing better than Sunday lunch tehre, and an afternoon in the sun by the pool. Its really fast into Colombo in a Tuk.
