I had an incredible stay at this property! Having visited Anuradhapura before, I can honestly say this time felt like a real getaway. The location is perfect—close to all the must-see landmarks, which made it so easy to explore the history and culture of the area. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how peaceful and welcoming the place felt. The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotless, and the food was absolutely fantastic—definitely five-star quality. One of the highlights for me was the calm, zen-like atmosphere, especially while relaxing by the beautiful pool. Between the peaceful surroundings, great amenities, and friendly staff, everything exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a relaxing and convenient stay in Anuradhapura, I highly recommend Maho Boutique!

We loved our stay here. Chaya is an exceptionally warm and welcoming hostess. The accommodation was charming (we were in the cottage). Air conditioning and the new wifi were very good. Chaya arranged an excellent tuktuk tour with a very helpful driver (Nameka). Her cooking is superb. We also did a Sri Lankan cooking class with Chaya - this was held in her lovely outside kitchen dining area. Highly recommended.

Bedroom is very comfy, super bathroom with a lot of water pression They welcomed us with a tea and homemade biscuits ! Breakfast was great! This was arranged under a shady 'Arjun Tree' (Kumbuk in Sinhala) in the charming compound filled with bird calls, butterflies right in front of the room. It was so appealing, appetizing, delicious and wholesome. The hospitality of the owners of the Golden Gate Ceylon was great indeed. The place is so quiet, secure and peaceful. You will really feel the tranquil.

Perfect stay” We spent some incredible days in this hotel. The pool is spacious, clean and perfect for relaxing, both day and night.
