We booked Tea Heritage after seeing how beautiful the property looked online and how reasonably priced it was, and it exceeded our expectations from the very beginning. Communication with the host was excellent even before we arrived. We had a few specific requests, especially around my partner’s dietary needs, and the host was more than happy to accommodate everything. They were flexible, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay exactly how we wanted it. The food was a major highlight. We were served delicious home-cooked meals with a great variety of dishes tailored to our preferences, even accommodating last-minute requests without any hesitation. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The property itself is spacious, private, and incredibly serene. It felt like a true escape into nature, surrounded by misty hills and peaceful views. We love outdoor experiences, and being offered a visit to a nearby organic farm was a wonderful bonus and one of the most memorable parts of our stay. We were also surprised with a candlelit dinner to celebrate our special occasion, which made our engagement even more magical. It was the perfect setting, and we genuinely could not have asked for a better place for such an important moment in our lives. A special mention to Palitha, who took great care of us throughout our stay, and to Dinu, the co-host and chef, who always made sure we were comfortable, well-fed, and well looked after, and not to Forget Thilina, the other co-host who was always available on the phone to coordinate everything. Their hospitality made a big difference. Amazing privacy, stunning views, a beautiful location, and heartfelt service. We absolutely loved our stay and are already looking forward to visiting again.

The property is GORGEOUS! Loved the gardens, the pool, the view, the style of hotel building. The staff are incredible - so friendly and professional. Breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. Loved the option to have breakfast on the front lawn. I could have spent a few days here relaxing but, to my dismay, only booked one night.

Everything is new and fresh, very cozy and well designed. The cherry on top was a creativity box with tools to make postcard on a recycled paper which is also produced by associated businesses. Next door you may find an Ayurvedic therapist or see how national baskets are made of recycled newspaper. Despite it is away from centre, it is 15 min by tuk-tuk and even less to the botanical garden. The view from the room was terrific as well as the one from the top of the building The management couldn’t be more helpful — not only gave us all the useful recommendations, but also helped to catch a very early train and suggested to keep in touch during all our stay on the Island, in case we needed any help and translation.

What an amazing place! Everything was superb. From the incredible staff who anticipated my every need, to the delicious food and the variety of activities in the area. The property was exceptional and the location was beautiful. The hotel with traditional architectural features and well maintained. The staff were homely and friendly. The food served was truly delicious. They even provided us with a complimentary travel snack box to have as we continued our travel. This place was absolutely incredible — a true hidden gem in the heart of nature. From the moment we arrived until the very last goodbye, everything was perfect. What made our experience truly exceptional was the hospitality. A special thank you to Christian, who made us feel so welcome and cared for — he truly made us feel special. The entire atmosphere is one of relaxed luxury: beautiful design, modern and tasteful aesthetics, and delicious food that exceeded our expectations. It’s one of those rare places where you feel pampered and at peace at the same time.
