This place is one of my favorites in Sri Lanka! It was such a beautiful surprise! Calm area, very nice outdoor setting, the room was very spacious (as was the bathroom!) So let's talk details: - Food: Amazing! Home cooked food, with candlelight and the sounds of nature! - Safari: He was a very good company during my trip! Where to start... We had a wonderful stay! Our host Ravidu is a very kind man, he welcomed me and my girlfriend into his family. We will forever be grateful for the special memories created there. His wife cooked us delicious traditional Sri Lankan food at night. Thank you very much ☺️ The bed is extremely comfortable and the room is spacious and very clean. It was nice to have a place to hang out on the terrace. There are many beautiful plants around the property that give it a jungle feel. We saw many tropical birds around. I 100% recommend booking a safari through Ravidu, he partners with a guide with many years of experience. The safari guide was knowledgeable about the animals and different species we saw on the safari. He was very respectful of the wildlife and drove slowly through the park unlike other jeeps..!!Guest review byRaul - 10.0

The location of the cottage is fantastic, within walking distance to Udawalawe Handhi. The room is beautifully designed with huge glass windows to appreciate nature. Very clean. We really enjoyed Ravidu Safari House!
We really enjoyed Ravidu Safari House! It is located about 5 minutes from the entrance of Udawalawe Park and is in a beautiful location among the trees. The manager Ravidu and his wife were very friendly and organized a wonderful safari for us to the park. We saw over 50 elephants and other animals, so we had a great time. Our room at the hotel was large, comfortable and very clean. We also had a lovely dinner at the hotel. The accommodation in this place has magical peace and quiet. The cabin is clean, air conditioned. Our host in the main building prepared us excellent Sri Lankan food. He is a wonderful, smiling and funny man with a wonderful family. We decided to go on a safari, which he helped us organize. As promised, our guide spoke good English and was able to identify animals that we would not have seen on our own. We highly recommend this place!Guest review byDrawe

Situated in Udawalawe National Park, has a nice swimming pool and a very good restaurant. The rooms are huge, well equipped and very clean. Too bad that we’ve stayed for only one night. The food was very good, the prices were decent. Also, the trip with the jeep in Udawalawe National Park was amazing (we’ve seen at least 12 elephants, 3 elephant calves, a lot of peacocks, buffalos, eagles and all kind of birds). Modern and clean rooms and relaxed patio with nice swimming pool. Superb stuff always ready to help you with a smile on their face. You get the feeling that nothing is a problem here. Safari tours and other transportation offers for reasonable prices. Highly recommended. Generally speaking, this resort is way beyond usual Sri Lanka standard.
