The hotel is amazing. It has 3 amazing pools with a great view on the lake. It is surrounded by nature (and wild monkeys!!). The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Also the breakfast buffet is incredible. Finally, the staff is incredibly kind and professional. A special mention must go to Dulsha working in the Cafe Kachchan who made our stay all the more unique.

Very friendly and helpful staff who worked as a team to ensure our stay was exceptionally comfortable. The team went out of their way to accommodate our every wish. Good value for money. The all girls team was effective in creating a very quiet and calm atmosphere.

The host was very attentive and caring, couldn’t do any more for us! The room is one of the biggest we have stayed in in our Sri Lanka trip. Lovely outside seating where the host served us a delicious breakfast. Only a 5 minutes tuk tuk ride from the main Dambulla bus stand.

We had an amazing time at the evergreen! Abu and his wife were super nice and helped us with everthing. its located in the green between a little canal and a ricefield. its also a great place to chill and hang out there. I would deffenetly come back!

The variety was impressive, from freshly baked pastries to traditional Sri Lankan dishes, all beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Pool: The infinity pool was a highlight of our stay, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. It was immaculately maintained and provided a serene environment to relax and unwind. Whether it was an early morning dip or a refreshing swim under the evening sky, the experience was magical. Dinner: The dining experience was another standout feature. We stayed 2 nights in a golden ayur eco villa which was well-priced and the rooms were comfortable, a calm place with an herbal plant surrounding our room. They organized a wild safari to the Minneriya National park. We saw a huge elephant gathering including babies, along with a variety of other wildlife such as birds, monkeys, and crocodiles. In addition there is a short distance from this place to Dambulla cave temple which is definitely worth to visit. We highly recommend GOLDEN ECO AYUR VILLA for the tourist destination in Dambulla.

This place was such a pleasant surprise! They opened recently, so everything is brand new and perfect, but what really stands out is how much the owners clearly love what they do. You can immediately feel it in the cleanliness, the kindness, and even the care they put into the decorations. The bathrooms are spacious and spotless, the beds are very comfortable, and everything feels welcoming. Truly recommended!
