We made a last-minute booking and were lucky to get the Sky Villa – a true gem and hidden treasure! The view was absolutely breathtaking, with a private jacuzzi pool and an unbeatable sense of privacy. The service was exceptional, with staff operating at the highest level of professionalism. Totally worth the price. The feeling of being on top of a giant rock is indescribable – truly unique! The room was brand new, and we learned the hotel only opened three months ago. You definitely won’t regret staying here!

Easily the best place we have stayed during our time in Sri Lanka . From the moment we arrived , everything was absolutely perfect . The Villa is set in an idyllic location surrounded by incredible scenery and the rooms are incredibly well appointed and spotlessly clean. The Pool area is immaculate and is a setting like no other . The location is also ideal if you’re heading to Pinawala Elephant orphanage as it’s just 5 min away by tuk-tuk. Additionally , the food here is some of yhr best we’ve had, served professionally and with care and every meal was delicious . We already can’t wait to return next year! .

Our experience at Elephant Safari Lodge was truly wonderful, but what really made it unforgettable was the outstanding service of Isuru. From the very first moment, he welcomed us with a big smile and a refreshing juice, making us feel at home straight away. He carried our luggage to the room and, throughout the entire stay, he was always attentive, kind, and humble. At every meal, Isuru was incredibly thoughtful and caring, making sure we had everything we needed. What touched us the most was his genuine kindness: he would constantly ask if we were happy, showing a sincere concern for our well-being. His dedication, politeness, and warm attitude turned our stay into something truly special. Without a doubt, Elephant Safari Lodge has in Isuru a true treasure. Once you enter the property is like stepping back in time, where modernity mixes with history in a very relaxing atmosphere, the staff is young and willing to go above and beyond of your expectation, nothing is impossible, a smile is guaranteed, bed are comfortable and rooms are super well equipped and really chic, food is very good and we cannot wait to come back good job guys!!! This hotel is really great 😁 The host is very kind. When we got there we got cold towels and a welcome drink. The room is amazing! We just got our own tuktuk here so driving it was new. The hotel is on a top of a hill so the drive is a bit difficult. But the host and other people helped us.

The hotel is in a stunning location and the staff were very attentive. The food was delicious and everyday a different Sri Lanka meal. The hotel has still a lot of the original furniture and old colonial feeling.

Omg what an absolute gem, our favourite accommodation of the whole trip, we had a balcony view of the street so we could see the elephants walking by to go to the river, the room was amazing, big comfy bed, good air con, massive bathroom and it was so spacious. Didn't try the food but you can dine on a balcony overlooking the street also. Staff are really nice as well, there were some young lads working there this week they helped us with our bags and directions to our next destination, can't remember there names but they are a credit to the business
