I had a wonderful stay at this private luxury cottage near Galle. Surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cottage was exceptionally clean, with comfortable linens and all the necessary amenities, including tea, coffee, hot water, and toiletries—all provided free of charge. The complimentary WiFi covered the entire cottage, ensuring a seamless connection. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, served in a peaceful setting with the soothing sounds of birds and stunning nature views. The location is ideal, close to popular tourist attractions such as waterfalls and monasteries. Additionally, the nearby village offers unique experiences like cinnamon peeling, hiking, and birdwatching. Absolutely spectacular views over Madu Lake and utterly peaceful. It’s a modern and very spacious design which sits inconspicuously in the landscape. The owners are so lovely and our Sri Lankan curry was the best we had in our month in Sri Lanka.

The villa is in a quiet area. The kids had a lot of fun in the pool and enjoyed the different games available like the billiard table. Aloka made sure we had great meals and showed us a river with small waterfalls in the area where the kids could take a swim which was great.

A wonderful place to stay. Calm and serene. Was lots better than the photo’s make it look. Loved waking up in the jungle with the full height glass windows. Really nice pool. The staff were super helpful and attentive and gave us lots of tips including visiting a local turtle sanctuary. Highly recommended.

This was an amazing sanctuary for me at the end of the active days I was there. You can hear the sound of the waves crashing at night which was the perfect white nose to put me to sleep :) There was this one time when I could not get hold of anyone via the landline, however, the staff was super friendly and very responsive once you get hold of them. The manager was very accommodating and everybody was attentive with a big smile. The hotel is within walking distance of many local stores (restaurants and pharmacies) and also close to the bus and train stations.
