I had an awesome stay ! If you are a nature lover, this place is for you! Even the access with the pick up is an nice adventure, and you can also easily access to the village by feet with a really nice and short walk. They have contact with a guide that is very nice and knows a lot about the rainforest and its animals. They organised 3 tours for me with him and I loved it !! Really one of the best experience I did in Sri Lanka ! The room is very clean, they are cooking food on the hotel. Enjoy the view and the peacefulness!

We loved this place! The views were amazing and the atmosphere was peaceful and calming. I stayed at Sinharaja Pitadeniya Hut in Lankagama during our research work in Sinharaja, and it was an excellent experience! The location is ideal—conveniently close to the main road and within easy access to both the Lankagama and Pitadeniya entrances of Sinharaja Forest Reserve. This made it very practical for our research activities. The food was another highlight. Breakfast was included in the price and featured authentic local dishes, which were both delicious and satisfying. The host was incredibly friendly and supportive, always ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment to relax after a day of work. Overall, it’s a great place for anyone visiting the area, whether for research or leisure. Highly recommended!

I had a great stay at the Glitz Marriott. Ananda and his family are great hosts, really nice, attentive and excellent cooks. I originally planned to stay one night but extended my stay. The room was large, clean and quiet. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea can be taken on the covered terrace with a beautiful view of the surrounding rice fields. Ananda is also a very good guide, we did an expedition in the Sinharaja forest and saw a lot of animals. Ananda also organised a visit to a tea factory and took me to see the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Our stay at Rainforest Star Accommodation near the Sinharaja Rain Forest was truly unforgettable. Prabath and his lovely family welcomed us with such warmth and care – always checking in to make sure we were comfortable, well-fed, and had everything we needed. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the jungle. The food was a highlight – delicious home-cooked meals made with love and local ingredients. The rainforest walk arranged by Prabath was a real standout. We were guided by an expert who had a deep knowledge of the forest and helped us spot rare birds, insects, reptiles, medicinal plants, and even a waterfall. It was an immersive and educational experience we’ll never forget – a must-do if you’re visiting the area. Adding to the magic, Prabath told us about a nearby Poya celebration and parade in a local village and arranged a tuk tuk so we could attend. It turned out to be one of the most special experiences of our trip – a beautiful, authentic cultural event filled with music, colour, and friendly smiling locals. We were the only tourists there and felt completely welcomed. Prabath and his family are wonderful ambassadors for Sri Lanka – generous, genuine, and full of heart. If you want to experience the true essence of the country – its nature, culture, and hospitality – this is the place to stay. Highly recommended!

Staying at the rainforest cabin was one of the highlights of our one month long stay in sri lanka. The place is incredibly beautiful and it was so nice to be surrounded by nature. Ravindra is a great host and made our stay really special. He arranged a guided rainforest tour for us and took us on a little hike close to the cabin. We would not change a thing and can only recommend staying at this hidden gem.
