Hands down the best hotel in Sri Lanka. If you're looking for a relaxing, luxurious, and unforgettable stay in Sri Lanka, you MUST stay at The Nine Mirissa. It's a fabulous location with stunning views and the building, including the pool, is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are very comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, the food (and drinks) are delicious. The atmosphere is super relaxed and homey. All of this within walking distance of the beach. We had a fantastic four days here, would give it 6 stars if I could. I highly recommend it.

Everything. Kind And helpfull owners, especialy Ms. Anusha. Everything is very clean, room, bathroom, pool, dining place. Big rooms, good AC, nice balcony, big bathroom with hot water. We loved the pool, delicious breakfast SL or continental (4 choices). Great masage, highly recomended. I had 2 different types. Both amazing.

The most beautiful accommodation in Sri Lanka. Large, spacious, extremely clean room with comfortable beds and soft pillows, clean cotton linen. Spacious bathroom, hot water, pressure shower. The breakfast was delicious, every morning they prepared a different dish for us. Fresh fruit, fruit drinks and bottled water at your discretion. Close to the beach and outstanding and the staff was very very kind. And the yard is nicely landscaped, with very well-kept exotic plants. we had a spacious terrace. Bonus, there were the monkeys that every morning came on the fence of the yard or on the roof. They were adorable and not aggressive at all. We were also able to use the washing machine and the property has a large space for drying clothes. This was very important for us. The internet works very very well. I highly recommend this property and would come back anytime.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every detail was taken care of with a smile. The breakfast was truly a highlight—delicious, fresh, and with a great variety that catered to all tastes. The hotel's design is stunning; modern, elegant, and comfortable, creating an atmosphere of pure relaxation. The location couldn't be better—right next to the beach, offering breathtaking views and easy access to the seaside. The view from the room is the best, the room itself is spacious and very clean and well maintained. Comfortable bed and pillows, combined with a sound of the waves good sleep is guaranteed. :) There is also good and comfortable bathroom. Breakfast is plenty and different every day. Fast Wi-Fi and a lovely working area on the last floor overlooking the seaside. In the hotel there is their own beach part and for those who surf a nice spot right there. The board rental is also next door. In the evening you can see sea creatures like big crabs and sometimes turtles coming to the beach! The family who runs this place is extremely nice and made our stay there amazing.

Villa Hillcrest is perfect for travellers looking for some downtime, as it is a super relaxing place nestled in the hills outside Weligama. A couple of kilometers away from Weligama beach and with some steep lanes leading up to it, it may be a little difficult to get to and fro from the beach via tuktuk, especially at night. With that said, it's a property that you would absolutely love if you want to simply lounge in the pool, enjoy a spacious villa to yourself and eat at the property itself. The pool is amazing, with a direct view of greenery overlooking Weligama beach. The food was delicious, and the staff is super helpful. We had a great conversation with the manager, and he made us some delicious off-menu mocktails as well on request!

We had a great stay at the Ocean breeze hotel! everything was very authentic, clean and the staff is very friendly. It’s possible to have breakfast and dine here and everything is freshly made by the Amma of the house and tastes wonderful. They were very kind to our little daughter and the owner gave us a lift to our next destination. We can only recommend this place :-)
