Stunning location! Properly isolated and very peaceful. The room is big and spacious with a superb view of the lake and mountains. We had an amazing time here and got to relax and unwind with the family. The caretaker also really went out of his way to look after us. We also got the chance to go to Udawalawe national park and see elephants. Overall the trip was perfect especially at that price! I wish we could have stayed for more days but we have made plans to come again for a longer stay. A hidden Jewel!

Everything was absolutily fine! Thanks a lot for all kindness and helpness of the staff. The room was excellent, the food is fine, and all facilities was so pleasant at the hotel. If I could, I will back here again!

Really one of the best hotels we ever stayed in. From the rooms, to the service to the hotel area with the pool - everything felt more like a 5-star-surrounding. The manager and the stuff are as helpful as it gets and fulfill wishes you didn't know you even hat. The view from the shower was amazing as well as the rest of the apartment. 10/10 - we would totally come again.

Breakfast was very nice fresh great location looking out at the ocean with the sound of the waves staff very friendly and helpful nothing was a problem for them to help with anything needed

Iggabara Hobbit House is located in a peaceful, rural area surrounded by rolling hills, paddy fields, and tropical forests. The setting is serene and secluded, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The drive to the property itself is an adventure, with scenic views and charming villages along the way. The Hobbit House is an architectural marvel designed to resemble the cosiness. The attention to detail is incredible – from the round doors and windows to the curved walls and rustic decor. We stayed in one of the Hobbit-style rooms, which was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. The bed was cozy, and the room was equipped with modern amenities like air conditioning and a private bathroom, all while maintaining its magical, rustic charm. The meals at Iggabara Hobbit House were a highlight of my stay. The kitchen serves delicious, home-cooked Sri Lankan meals made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Dining on the terrace, surrounded by nature, was an unforgettable experience. The breakfast, which included traditional Sri Lankan hoppers, fresh fruit, and tea, was the perfect way to start the day. The hospitality at Iggabara Hobbit House was warm, genuine, and heartfelt. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home, and their kindness added to the magical atmosphere of the place. They were always available to help with anything we needed. At night, the property is lit up with fairy lights, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere. 15 minutes by walk or 5 mins by Tuk Tuk, and you reach the Turtle beach and some local restaurants.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Blu from start to finish. All of the staff made our stay really special. Couldn’t recommend enough for a relaxing part of your trip.

We had a lovely stay at OMIA. The rooms are really nice, the pool is clean and lovely, the views and beach are stunning. The staff is also really friendly.

Very nice place. The room is clean, comfortable with A/C, and safe. The staff is very friendly and take much cares of me. I love this place.

We loved the pool, temperature was perfect. From the pool we had a view of the river, there was plenty of birdlife to watch, also saw mongoose and large lizard. The owner really cares about the service he is providing. The meals were all amazing and he was accommodating when on the second day we only wanted a light lunch of sandwiches. He organised a good safari for us and was there as we left for safari even though it was 5am. Really recommend this accommodation.

It is an amazing quiet place with stunning beach view and very friendly staff. Sadly we stayed just for one day there, would like to enjoy more of this area. Clean spacious rooms, very tasty breakfast, long walks in the beach while sunset time will keep the best memories for a long time. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
