What an amazing stay! We were there for 3 days. Our room was super spacious, clean and well-furnished. We had access to a cute balcony to watch the sun rise and the evening mist cover the land. The room stays cool when the days are hot and heavy. There’s warm water and a blanket for the rainy ones. We stayed in one afternoon due to the weather and it was very cosy. The owners are very welcoming and eager to help. They arranged a scooter rental for us and helped us define our itinerary. The food was particularly delicious, we ate there two nights in a row. The place is also very well located and you can start hiking to the jungle bird sanctuary or the ancient catholic monastery right from the doorstep. I recommend to take the stairs and go uphill to enjoy the breathtaking view.

The location is just a short walk to the amazing beauty of natural pools of Diyaluma waterfalls. Watching the sunset there is one of our core memories in Sri Lanka. The accommodation is more on the simple side, but what makes up for it is Imantika (pardon the spelling:)) and her family. Where do we begin? From the moment we stepped through the door we were knew this was going to be a highlight of our holiday. The hotel arranged a free pickup from Haputale train station and greeted us with a hot towel and a welcome drink. The location and view are breathtaking, the food is amazing and plentiful, and the cocktails were some of the best we’ve had. The rooms are beautiful with such attention to detail. We won’t spoil some of the wonderful touches that you will experience during your stay, but you will not be disappointed. The main reason why this place is so special is thanks to the wonderful team of people who work here. Exceptionally attentive in an understated kind of way. In a country where we have experienced nothing but great service and genuine hospitality this place really takes it to the next level thanks to everyone we met during our stay. We were made to feel like this was our home from home and loved it so much we extended our stay by one day. The ride up to Lipton’s seat is a must and we recommend walking part way back to enjoy the serene atmosphere of walking through the tea bushes and the tea pickers. Also, be sure to walk around the hotel property. If you are really lucky you might be joined for breakfast by the inquisitive monkeys. Sure, it’s not going to be the cheapest place you stay, but in our opinion it’s worth every penny. If you are looking for a little piece of heaven in Sri Lanka you’ve just found it! Definitely our favourite hotel of our holiday.

The property was clean, with a beautiful view and a pool! Nice bathrooms and good beds! The staff was incredibly helpful to provide us information on our day trips to Ella and Haputale, especially a big thanks to Maheshi! In the evenings after the day trips, we spent time at the pool and ordered bites from the kitchen. Good Sri Lankan food. Thanks to Hashan for serving us and checking in on us during our stay! We had breakfast one day and dinner another day! Good mix of Sri Lankan and continental!

Amazing place! We were truly amazed for this place that it for sure exceeded our expectations! - First thing that has captivated us is a breathtaking view of tea plantations and mountains from the balcony. There are comfortable chairs - The food is served in the separate big room with the panoramic windows so you can enjoy the wonderful view while eating. - Breakfast was very delicious. We also ordered a dinner twice, and it was great as well: large portions and national cuisine. - The room itself is one of the largest we have been staying while traveling in Sri Lanka. Very clean and comfortable. - The host was very hospitable and kind. He also helped us to organized trips to tea plantations and the waterfall for good prices.
