We had the best time staying at the tea cottage! The staff was so attentive and friendly and the golden ice tea on arrival was very tasty. We had both dinner and breakfast at their restaurant and it was delicious. The bungalow was so cozy and we loved the surrounding area with several waterfalls to go swim in, just a short drive away, as well as beautiful hiking! We were the only tourists around and the local people are (as everywhere in Sri Lanka) really helpful and nice. The manager Johan made our stay very special!

The staff were extremely helpful, and always extremely friendly. The price was extremely good for the quality of the hotel. The hotel is just outside of Candy, and not too far away from some amazing hill tea plantations. We rented a car with a driver, which was a very good value and I would certainly recommend.

An exceptional location. Both views and serenity 😌 One of the best places we have stayed in a long time. The greenery, the sound of water, birds chirping along with fantastic views and a pool to relax. Rooms are comfortable and tidy. The hotel is in the most beautiful location! An amazing experience to wake up in the morning and see the river flowing surrounded by all the beautiful trees. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed. The food is good, and it’s great that they offer personal adjustments upon request. But most importantly – the staff was incredible!!! They gave us everything we needed, always smiled, and truly just wanted us to have the best time. The family who owns the hotel is lovely and does everything they can to make the experience as perfect as possible. If you’re looking for a slightly different hotel with breathtaking views – this is the one for you!

The hotel is in the middle of nature and the property has very large windows and balconies where you could see a beautiful mountain view. The service was excellent right from the start of the visit and the staff fulfilled all our needs exceptionally. Transportation to Gampola town or Ambuluwawa tower is easily handled by the hotel staff.
