Good environment At night you can various animals sound because this is thick ungle area. Early morning you can vast typeof birds and their songs specially peacock. You can see somany peacocks around the hotel. Very mind relax. You dont feel any stress. Their meel also very good vilage type. Rooms comfortable excellent .like 5* hotel.

The hotel was fantastic - amazing facilities and lovely staff. It was the perfect location to explore some of the area too - so nice to be near a supermarket and other food places whilst also being in a quiet area down by the river. We got to see a crocodile by the river from the hotel garden!! The pool was great - made for a very relaxing fun place to come back to. The gym had good facilities and it was nice that there were outside weights. Great breakfast too. The staff brought us mango lassi and beer to our room one evening too. Room was super comfortable - great shower and ac.

Wow, what a find Art Yala boutique resort is. If you want a a break away from the hustle and bustle of every day life this is the place to come.It’s hard to explain how beautiful and tranquil the view is from this fabulous resorts garden looking across the lake to the distant Buddhist temple, perfect for morning yoga. Madu the resort owner and his wonderful staff Nisal, Mahesh, Sampath and the outstanding Chef Indika looked after us like family. The fruit and tasty cooked food for dinner is all local produce. The rooms are very modern and spacious with all mod cons required. For a trip to the National Reserve Safari park. Madu can arrange everything for a full day or half day safari. If you’re lucky,like we were you may get to see a Leopard or two along with the many other wild animals. Thanks Madu 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the wonderful stay Kind regards Pete & Di

Gem of a place. As mentioned in other reviews the rooms are basic BUT comfortable and clean. For the price they are more than perfect. The setting itself was wonderful - right by the lake, surrounded by wildlife. In the evening, the host took us by tuktuk/scooter for a free tour of the lakes where we saw varans, bats, many birds including two beautiful owls !, and even a (harmless) snake. I booked my Yala safari with the host the day before and we could tell that the driver was more experienced than others. We saw all the wildlife one could see in Yala - leopards, crocodiles, varans, many birds, elephants, mongooses and even a sloth bear ! Perfect place, I'm happy I choose it.

I can’t recommend it more 😊 Nalin will do everything to make your stay better He is always trying to add more value to your stay offering new activities, recommendations and experiences He arranged a dinner in the jungle where I could cook rotti with the locals and even spot some crocodiles and elephants!! One of the best accomodation excperiences we’ve ever had. It was so much more than just a place to stay. From the moment we met our hosts we were made to feel like part of the family. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and their hospitality never ceased to amaze. As if a beautifully maintained, quiet, calm and meticulously clean property in addition to some amazing food were not enough, the host showed us places we would never have found on our own. Its speaks for itself that the safary in Yala National Park was not even half as interesting as the late night tour our host gave us in his village. The highlight of our stay was the Vesak celebration witch we would never have seen without our host. Thank you so much! May you be blessed!

We really enjoyed our stay at Double Lake View due to the so kind and helpfull staff, they make you feel so welcomed. The room was perfect for a shorter stay and the food they made were delicious.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The host is super friendly and helpful. When we arrived the host offered bikes to explore the area. We cycled around the lake, 100% recommended if you visit this place. The host also booked our trip to Yala National Park, for which she gave several options. The room was very clean and has everything you need. The location is very quiet, except for the river! However you do not hear the river from the room, and outside you can enjoy its soothing nature sound! Thank you Mithila!
