The caretaker Kumar was very friendly and helpful. I wanted to do 3 days of the nearby Pekoe trail and he kept my bag safe for me, and locked it in a room, kindly hanging up my damp towel for the duration. He also helped me with where to eat and which buses to take, which I really appreciated! Dam house has comfortable rooms, clean and with beautiful views, I would definitley book again! Thank you

Heaven hills is one of the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. The owner family are the kindest people who caring our happiness always. The room was beautiful, comfortable, clean and spacious with a breathtaking view from the balcony. We had a wonderful breakfast and dinner which is delicious. This is the place we highly recommend in maskeliya for climbing adams peak and doing waterfall visit around. bit away from the city center but 5 min walking distance to the maskeliya town. It was really worth to have stay here, definitely come back, good luck for your business

Priyanga was very kind and helpful, he cooked us the best meals that offered some variety from what ate on our trip, gave us good tips and helped us organise our next activity. He even preprared some homemade medicine for a sore throat! We are really grateful to have had him as our host, we will always remember his hospitality. Greetings to you, Priyanga! The house‘s location is a 10/10, less than a 15 min drive from the Adam‘s Peak start and is surrounded by a great landscape, especially in comparison to Dalhousie (where the hike starts), so it‘s really worth the short ride.

We arranged 2 nights but unfortunately we have limited time so we stayed at Madhush rest for 1 night. Such a calm place and great service they did for us. And also the owner is very friendly and kind. He arranged and well explained the places where we can visit and other facilities too. Thank you Madhusha staff and we would like to visit again.

We had a warm welcome with tea/coffee offered upon arrival. During the stay the host was very approachable for any questions we had. It’s conveniently located and walking distance to the entrance of Adams Peak. Nice breakfast is served, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood.     Maskeliya is a market town which could be lot more .

    Maskeliya is a market town which could be lot more .The hilly terrain is a planners dream. I imagine the buildings painted pastal pink and yellow, flower pots hanging from the eves, it could be a destination rather than a quick stop to buy supplies on the way to elsewhere as is now.
