I had a lovely stay at Residence by Amaya. The place is peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the room was spacious and comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. I’d definitely love to come back!

Very beautiful neighbourhood, recommended if you need to refresh and need time for yourself and being undisturbed. Vipassana center is near so perfect before/after the 10days course. It is way out of my budget but I had to find a place where I can get better as I got a bit sick and despite it was a bit expensive for my budget as a solo traveller, I did not regret coming. The host is super nice, great breakfast and dinner is at a very reasonable price. There are temples to visit around, I can imagine this place is super for a couple. Room is super nice, huge and comfy beds. There is kettle and fridge in the room.

We stayed for 1 night and the staff were so incredibly welcoming! The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We were craving Sri Lankan food and they made us an entire spread for just 2 people for the complementary breakfast in the morning. The property itself is really beautiful - very in nature and the sounds the birds/ jungle when you wake up/ when you swim is really peaceful. We also saw them feeding the squirrels and taking care of the little stray animals which was really nice. A place with real passion for taking care of nature. Overall, really happy with the experience.

The place is very beautiful and the owner and his family are very kind. We went here for 1 night and we were so pleased that we stayed 4 nights. The rooms , the garden , all is very clean , quite and pleasant . We used bicycle to go to the wonderful and splendid archaeological site of Mihintale and to the lake.

Score: 🌟 10/10 Exceptional Stay! My stay at Wilroma Hotel & Resort was absolutely fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were spotless, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The facilities were well maintained, and the comfort level was outstanding. The breakfast was delicious and fresh, and the location was ideal—close to all the key sites in Anuradhapura but still peaceful and quiet. I truly couldn’t ask for more—everything was perfect. Highly recommended!
