Location and concept is relaxing and amazing. Especially Cabanas among casuarina forest and the view of wind mills. There is no other place to have such experience in Sri Lanka. The rice and curry was made from local vegies picked the closer farmlands. And seafoods are also amazing too. The maneger and the all staff is so friendly supportive.

The Majestic Beach Retreat with its location, amenities and hospitality is one of the best holiday locations on the Western coastal belt of Sri Lanka. I could truly unwind and relax at this retreat to the sounds of the ocean's waves. Its infinity pool offers beautiful vistas of the setting sun. We had a really great stay here!! Tharanga was the loveliest host and they couldn’t do more for us. He has amazing English so communication was super easy. The pool is massive with a shallow kids section too, rooms are clean and comfortable. The food was insane, we had a few different curries and string hoppers for breakfast! They were very accommodating and let us order for specific times with vegetarian options It’s currently off season so it’s quiet, and they really kindly let us check out a couple hours later than the initial time. The whole complex is beautiful and they even had a ‘beer pub’ with a wide variety of drinks. Food and drinks were very reasonably priced and overall the stay was great value A little bit far from the town but this didn’t bother us as we just wanted to chill. Channa, the owner, is a lovely man. We had a last minute check in with him, and he arranged a spacious, comfortable budget room for the 3 of us. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and the food was very good. The staff were all helpful and friendly and the hotel was very clean. Highly recommended.

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Kalpitiya, Dolphin Village is a homestay surrounded by views of the sea.
