The super friendly staff, who went out of their way to make our stay memorable (eg when my daughter hurt herself they produced a toy elephant for her to keep, or making different dishes of food because had never tried them). Added to this the very relaxed vibe of the place made it the perfect place to end our holiday.

Incredible place, one of the nicest we stayed in Sri Lanka and it was just meant to be a stopover. Very comfortable room. Great common area and pool. River was really nice to swim in too. The best was the warm welcome from Lakshan and getting to chat with him. He is a great host and very good cook too! Would definitely recommend staying and eating there. Food was very reasonable prices and very good quality .

Steps is a beautiful spot surrounded by native plants that emerge you in the best greenery of Sri Lanka. The staff are very friendly and helpful and go out of their way to help. They even provided Sri Lankan breakfast on request. The rooms are beautifully built.

The stay at Kirindi Paddy Isle was truly wonderful. The place is set on a quiet paddy island surrounded by beautiful greenery and nature all around. It felt so peaceful, just what we needed to relax and rest before our departure. The location is great, its only about 10 minutes from the airport, yet it feels like a world away from the noise. The food was so flavorful, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They really made us feel at home. The rooms and villa were spotless and very comfortable. The pool is large and very nice and clean with lovely loungers. We had dinner and it was excellent. It is only 15 minutes from the airport. But during our stay we were hardly aware of the planes taking off and landing. An excellent stay.
