My sister and I loved our stay at Aramya Hotel—everything was simply perfect! The staff was beyond kind, always ready to assist and help. We arranged activities like jungle walks, abseiling and rafting through the hotel, and each experience was incredible. Our room was sparkling clean and spacious, with a stunning river view and a lovely balcony. The hotel itself is amazing, featuring a large pool, a beautiful garden, and stunning interior design. We enjoyed all our meals at the property, which offered delicious vegan options—something we truly appreciated. We really appreciated that the hotel provides refillable glass jars in the rooms instead of promoting single-use plastic bottles. It’s a shame we only stayed for two nights; we would definitely love to come back!

The villa location is magical. Nestled in the trees with a stunning view. There’s a stream running in the valley just below the villa where they’ve made a small dam for bathing - this is pretty special. The host, Rangi, made our stay a memorable one. Great communication over WhatsApp before we arrived. She helped us arrange rafting and canyoning at a great price with the best guides! We had such a fun time. Breakfast and dinner for two nights. Great value, big room, good location, near small town with shops. Good Wi-Fi. Nice view of forest out the balcony. Very friendly and helpful staff, took us for a ride in the tuk tuk free of charge. Went rafting and canyoning for a very reasonable price of R 7,500 each. Great experience.

The location is simply stunning. Views from the terrace, the pool and the room are incredible regardless of weather. Pool is in a garden setting where the tea bushes meet to edge of the garden. Food good and not unreasonable. Staff very attentive rooms simple and old world charm but all in keeping with the hotels age.

We were really happy with our stay from day one. The staff was very nice and professional and our room was clean and comfortable. The best part however is the view! You really feel that you are in the heart of nature. The food was also good with relatively cheap prices. There was nothing to complain about and I hope we come back soon. Highly recommended!

Amazing hidden gem , located in a beautiful rai forest , spacious rooms with beautiful views , all staff were amazing Banda and his family, the gentlemen driving the jeeps and the ferry service across the river. Food is fresh, delicious and from the garden. We arrived at 5.30am (yes) and there was a canoe and jeep waiting for us to start our adventure! Wished we could have stayed longer, hope to one day return.
