Remote and surrounded by nature. Was wonderful to peacefully wake up to the sound of birds. The dinners were great tasting and well presented. I was welcomed warmly and treated very kindly during my 2 night stay. The hotel arranged transport for me to and then from the hotel with a great local driver, Posheeter. The safari tour they arranged was with a great guide Nishander, he seemed very experienced and I saw lots of elephants, monkeys, mongeese, deer etc. The pool was clean and a comfortable temperature.

I have stayed there for one night with my partner and it was great. you can visit the Udawalawa forest by 10 minutes. The hotel was beautiful. there is big swimming pool.

Beautiful, quiet location. The lodge is excellent, the best quiet environment I had in Sri Lanka, the jacuzzi tub is perfect for a dip after a long safari. The owner and staff are very friendly. The lodge also organized my private safari and my guide, driver Janaka, was excellent. I actually liked my Udawalawe safari better than the one I did in Yala.

This is amaizing natural place on the bank of the river with big very old trees where you can see a lot of birds and another wild life. The house is made with only natural materials with passion and love. Host are unique and the food too. We loved this place! The views were amazing and the atmosphere was peaceful and calming. We visited the Sinharaja Forest Reserve during our stay and our host did an amazing job by organizing the whole trip there, he made everything really easy for us.
