We really enjoyed the food and the location, the Lodge is lost among paddy fields, mountains, palm trees and beautiful small villages. The room was really confortable it has a nice terrasse and a stunning view on their beautiful garden where we saw peacocks passing by and also a lot of caméléon and beautiful lézards The family is also very kind and we could enjoy a new year party with them, playing games with kids, sharing food and observing fireworks! Waji speaks amazing French! .

Super nice rooms with huge terrace and amazing view, great for photos. Loved the lobby where you can sit and chill with your friends and even nicer sittting by the pool. Full bar with beers and other bevereges. We arrived Tired and hungry after 8pm And the owner and his wife Made us great dinner so we didnt have to go anywhere. They even went to market for fresh meat. Actually THE BEST thing about this villa is the owner and his wife, both very nice and extremely helpful. The owner was guide for 20 years and he recommended us many places and helped us with planning our trip. Really the best experience with accommodation in Sri Lanka. And the breakfast was really good too (served by the pool). Great service, you never wait for anything and they try to make you feel welcome and homelike. Just awesome, thank you so much.

Lovely authentic place. In our two weeks holiday with a lot of luxery resorts, this was the one we have the warmest feeling about. When you are looking for a not so touristic area, some magnificent views, a little farm life, and some great staff, go here. Oh and go for the Sri Lanken Kitchen, that’s better then the European:)

Staff at this property truly go above and beyond for the customer to enjoy their stay and do so from the heart. Special thanks to our target shooting “coach”. We loved the rustic cottages, the garden, the facilities ( pool, badminton, playground, archery and target shooting) and the view of the waterfall. We had tea, dinner and breakfast and everything tasted great. Upon request, the staff took the trouble to go get a special treat that my husband wanted to taste. It appears that this new resort is very much interested in sustainability and integration in the local community. We loved our stay there and highly recommend it to all.

On our way from Negombo to Sigiriya, we stayed one night at The Twisted Tree. It is a beautiful and very peaceful place. We had a spacious room, a lovely hot shower, and a great swimming pool with a stunning view. We were looked after by an incredibly kind and caring host. He cooked a delicious dinner for us and also prepared breakfast, which we could choose ourselves and decide what time we wanted to eat. This personal touch made our stay extra special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, comfort, and genuine hospitality.
