Lone Star Residence is newly built and furnished to exceptionally high standards. It is an inviting, spacious, hospitable place to stay with excellent facilities - kitchen especially but in truth, all rooms. Location - 15 mins taxi Palaly Int Airport; 5 mins drive Inuvil railway station; 10/15 mins drive Jaffna; 5 mins drive Chunnakam. The actual physical location is attractive in its serenity. Its located in a quiet lane on Manipay Road overlooking agricultural land owned/rented by smallholders. Noise and external interference is absolutely minimal.

Best value for money. There are walls, gate, CCTV, an attached bathroom, a hot water shower, and A/C. Can park 2 cars. We spent 2 nights here. It's really good there. Security, facilities, and cleanliness are good.

We had a most amazing stay at The Thinnai. The property is well maintained with lovely garden, the restaurant has fantastic dinner options, the breakfast buffet is plentiful, the suite is tastefully decorated, the personnel is very welcoming. Strongly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay here. The location is very central, making it easy to get around Jaffna. Despite being in the city, it's a peaceful and quiet place to relax. The rooms are equipped with good air conditioning and nice showers. There are both ground and upper floor options available. Every morning, you can choose the type of breakfast you prefer, and the breakfast itself is tasty and fresh. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I also had the chance to meet the owner we had some great conversations. You can really feel the passion behind this place, and it shows in the care and attention given to guests. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jaffna!

A beautifully decorated and perfectly maintained property including a lovely pool. We were looked after by very attentive staff in particular Janakan who was so kind and helpful. The food was delicious and we will definitely plan to return!

Location is good. Room is very clean .my room cleaning boy (nishanth) is doing his jobb very will. Breakfast is very very good. Restaurant employees are caring us when we entered to the restaurant. We were on a cycling trip around the country and our priorities / expectations were met by the hotel. 1. Easy access to the hotel from the road 2. Simple and comfortable accommodation 3. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful atmosphere—filled with the gentle rustle of palm trees and birdsong—made it easy to unwind. The villa itself is impeccably maintained, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. The interiors are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with modern amenities (like a fully equipped kitchen and cozy bedrooms) that made our stay effortless. But the true star of the show is the outdoor space! The sprawling garden feels like a private oasis, ideal for morning coffees on the patio, leisurely strolls among flowering plants, or evenings grilling under the stars. Our kids loved playing freely in the safe, open area, and we cherished the alfresco dining setup surrounded by nature. Location-wise, it’s a gem—tucked away for privacy yet conveniently close to Keerimalai’s natural springs and a short drive from Jaffna’s cultural sites.
