This is a carefully designed small cottage. Compact but very comfortable. Out door sitting areas, stoned carved seats and bath tubs, swings, tree house nets. Kids loved it. We loved the peaceful nature and the calm environment.

I liked many things about Nuga Retreat. First of all, the beautiful, natural surroundings with mountain views created a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, providing convenience, and the outdoor pool was a great place to unwind. The property is super clean and well-maintained, with rooms that are better than most 5-star hotels.The Villa felt just right, very quiet when and if you wanted it to be The pool is kept to professional standards, which I really appreciated. It’s an amazing spot for a perfect getaway with plenty of nearby attractions like the Pettigala mountain hike and Victoria Reservoir viewpoint to explore. Beautiful hotel with stunning views. Pool and a jacuzzi on top floor. Excellent staff and great restaurant. We had a big room with a balcony. I had a wonderful massage as well. If you want to get away from Kandy to a peaceful and serene place, this is it. 40 min from Kandy, high in the hills.

Everything was perfect! 🤗 The hotel was very clean and beautiful. It is surrounded by lush greenery, and the whole building blends seamlessly into nature with its earthy colours, plants, and thoughtfully designed interior and exterior. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Two sides of the room were just windows, allowing you to wake up to the sunrise over the mountains. The breakfast was delicious, with generous portion sizes. The milk tea was a 10/10! Since it was the Sri Lankan New Year, they had also arranged a table with traditional Sri Lankan sweets, which was a lovely touch. Most importantly, the staff were exceptional. Upon arrival, we were given a WhatsApp number for communication. They responded quickly and clearly—very friendly and professional. The location was also great, just a 30-minute drive from Kandy, making it convenient for exploring the area. But honestly, the resort itself was so peaceful and well-designed that we felt completely relaxed without even needing to leave. It was the perfect place to unwind and recharge. Overall, it was such a wonderful experience. Highly recommended! ❤️❤️❤️
