This place was absolutely breathtaking—truly a dream! The house, designed by the host, was just as stunning. You can immediately tell they have incredible taste. Wow! The hosts were beyond kind and welcoming. They gave us a tour of their garden, and it was nothing short of magical. If you can name a fruit or vegetable, they grow it! Breakfast was a feast—fresh, flavorful, and straight from the garden. Every bite was pure joy! All in all, this stay was unforgettable. Before we left, we each planted a durian tree, and we can’t wait to come back in a few years to see it grow. If you're looking for a special place to stay, this is it!

We were a family of 6 adults and 2 children that booked three rooms at Bellwood. I had initially booked the hotel for the stunning views it offers, unfortunately we stayed during a cyclone. Despite this we had an amazing stay at Bellwood and it has become one of my personal favourite hotels of our stay. The hotel is beautiful with lovely large bedrooms and very comfortable beds. The staff were extremely fun and couldn’t have been more helpful. The hotel is a an extra journey from Kandy but worth the extra travel for its quiet picturesque location. The journey to and from the hotel adds to the experience of visiting Sri Lanka

I liked many things about Nuga Retreat. First of all, the beautiful, natural surroundings with mountain views created a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, providing convenience, and the outdoor pool was a great place to unwind. I also really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who truly made an effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

Serenity Villa is amazing. The people will do anything they can to help, despite the language barrier. They were so helpful, friendly, attentive, kind and happy. They even helped to arrange a private Ayurvedic massage for my wife and I last the house. The property is nicely laid out, the garden well maintained and the food is fantastic (the owner is an experienced chef who worked in 5-star hotels for 20 years). We really enjoyed our stay at Serenity and if/when we come back to this part of the world, will eagerly stay here again. Highly recommend.

The location is simply amazing with a stunning view on a lake and mountains. Small team extremely dedicated to make your stay a pleasant one. Kudos to Thiloka for her patience and always smiling. Great breakfast and food, the best we had in Sri Lanka. Definitely a place we will remember.

Everything was perfect! 🤗 The hotel was very clean and beautiful. It is surrounded by lush greenery, and the whole building blends seamlessly into nature with its earthy colours, plants, and thoughtfully designed interior and exterior. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Two sides of the room were just windows, allowing you to wake up to the sunrise over the mountains. The breakfast was delicious, with generous portion sizes. The milk tea was a 10/10! Since it was the Sri Lankan New Year, they had also arranged a table with traditional Sri Lankan sweets, which was a lovely touch. Most importantly, the staff were exceptional. Upon arrival, we were given a WhatsApp number for communication. They responded quickly and clearly—very friendly and professional. The location was also great, just a 30-minute drive from Kandy, making it convenient for exploring the area. But honestly, the resort itself was so peaceful and well-designed that we felt completely relaxed without even needing to leave. It was the perfect place to unwind and recharge. Overall, it was such a wonderful experience. Highly recommended! ❤️❤️❤️
