I can’t recommend this place highly enough. The treehouses are absolutely stunning—beautifully designed with incredible attention to detail. I was genuinely amazed by the thoughtful infrastructure and layout. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. There’s such a warm, wholesome energy throughout the entire place. The food is another highlight. I especially recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast—absolutely delicious! If buffets aren’t your thing, no worries—you can easily order from the menu instead. And to top it all off, the location is unbeatable. You can check the surf right from your doorstep, with the beach just steps away.

You will truly relax here. The property is pretty much spotless and located just meters from the Indian Ocean, which means you can hear the waves ALL NIGHT. The staff is super attentive and thoughtful, from the caretakers to the bartenders to the management. I was also pleasantly surprised to find real Neapolitan pizza, a wide selection of Italian wines, and caffè corretto with Sambuca (!) – just when I started missing European flavors a bit ;) And if that wasn’t enough, the yoga classes first thing in the morning put you in a blissful mood. Would definitely come back <3

Beautiful, clean, quiet place. It is located 50 meters to the beach which is very comfortable. Rooms are equipped with A/C. Nice surfing school named "Surf with Deen" is located next-door. There are many restaurants within walking distance. So, it is very good place to stay when you are in Arugam Bay.

The location was great. If you don't want to stay in crowded Arugambay this is the right place for you. You have your own pirvate beach, a little cabana, good food at the restaurant and it is the cleanest hotel we have been in Sri Lanka.

We liked the staff they were helpful welcoming and warm even though we stayed over new year when most folks are on holiday. They even gave us some of their celebration foods. The rooms are very clean comfortable and spacious with really efficient aircon and fan. The waste water is recycled and used in the lovely garden. Rooms come with fridge kettle and fresh refillable drinking water availe all the time. The food in the restaurant was delicious and has a Japanese twist. There is a coffee shop right by the gate that sells excellent coffee and cake. They have a pool within a lush garden which gives some respite from the heat of the street. The pool is really clean and free for guests but public can use it for a fee. We loved our stay here so much we extended it for 2 nights. Whist the Spice trail doesn't back onto the beach it's right in the centre of Abay and just across the road from the beach. This was a favourite place to stay for us ❤️ Thank you Spice Trail team you are great! a special shout out to the lovely smiley gardener who alway met us with a wonderful smile 😃 we hope to return some day. 10 /10 💖
