We can a 100% recommend this resort for everybody. Stayed here 2 days and the personal does absolutely everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The food they serve is really tasty and there is a evening buffet that you certainly will enjoy. You can have a nice walk to create your own mini-safari. The owner, Roshan, is a really nice guy and helped us with everything. Booked an amazing safari as well with a driver who new the animals and their patterns very good allowing us to see them all. Nothing but praises.

The safari with the guide that was very experienced, a 10/10 experience. The warm hospitality from the host and his wife. they were kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The authentic Sri Lankan food, delicious and freshly prepared. The overall care,, they upgraded us for free because the room was not used the night we stayed.

We stayed here for our Safari in Wilpattu National Park and had a very good experience. We were looking for a hotel close to the park with air conditioning, a pool, and dinner service – all of these expectations were fully met. The hotel looks modern and very clean, and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. A special detail was that we received our breakfast at 5:30 a.m. for the safari, which was very thoughtful. My 7-year-old son is a picky eater and did not like the dinner at first – not because of the kitchen, but simply his taste. The staff were very attentive and helped us find something special for him, which we really appreciated. The view of the lake from our room was fantastic. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy.

We had a lovely stay at Ceylon Resort. Our hosts and their family were very friendly and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The cabin is lovely with clean facilities and in a good location close to the lake and national park entrance. The food was amazing and we highly recommend the full day safari.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this special eco lodge! The hosts have created a little paradise with so much dedication and hard work – natural, cozy cabins surrounded by nature that make you feel at home right away. The food was delicious and lovingly prepared, the safari perfectly organized and full of unforgettable impressions. A real highlight was the walk through the beautiful surroundings of the lodge, which the hosts kindly offered free of charge – such a valuable and personal experience. Owner gave us a nice birdwatching tour in the evening, they were always ready to bring us whatever we needed and when we came back they had fresh watermelon juice ready for us to enjoy. Besides that, the wife of the owner is an extremely good cook. To top things off, we even got the brand new room they had just finished. It also a great base of operations for day trips in to the fabulous Wilpattu park.
