The Location is very beautiful, situated in the jungle in a small village. The family was incredibly kind and made our stay feel like home. We had delicious homemade, traditional dinner and breakfast. The house is close to the entrance to Sinharaja Forest and they recommended us a great Guide who spotted lots of animals and showed us many ayurverdic healing plants. I can‘t recommend this place enough :)

The cabin is in the heart of the forest and among tea plantations. To reach the cabin you have to cross two small creeks where you can also enjoy the natural pools. The cabin is very clean with a comfortable bed, there I also an outside patio where dinner and breakfast are served. There is electricity thanks to a solar panel. Ravindra is a very kind and attentive host. He will help you with your backpacks and will bring your meals to the cabin. He also organises tour of the forest and accompany you to the forest with his tuk tuk. We asked for dinner and breakfast and both meals were very good and with large portions both prepared by Ravindra's mother. Both during the day and night you can see a lot of birds and other animals around the cabin. Definitely one of the best experiences in our trip to Sri Lanka.

We stayed in Birds Paradise Hotel for three nights and birding around Sinharaja. The staff are very friendly and always helpful to our needs. And I was satisfied with the breakfast and dinners in the hotel which comforted me whenever I needed. Highly recommend!

Very beautiful place to stay for seeing the rainforest. Vini is an excellent guide and spots all kind of animals when you go with him in the park or in the village area. He also helped us with transport and other arrangements. His wife cooks the best rice and curry in Sri Lanka! The food comes always in very big portions and that for a very reasonable price. For dessert you can eat the very delicious curd with honey from the palm tree, which Vini climbs every day. The location at the river is fantastic. As a wildlife enthusiast there is always something to see in the garden. But very surprisingly there are no mosquitoes at all. The rooms were very clean and had a lot of space. From the terrace we had a nice view on the river. All in all we had a wonderful stay!

The location is idyllic, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty—it truly feels like stepping into a peaceful oasis. The rice and curry were delicious, with generous portions. If you are a nature lover,this is the best place you should be.....I spent some wonderful days at Rainforest Mount Villa. The view and landscape is something special-amazing - the villas are right inside the rain forest!!!! And the balcony on the riverbank it was something I really enjoyed. Sarath - the owner of this lovely place, its an amazing man, an excellent jungle guide, professional, generous, and very friendly. It was really nice days that we experienced and we felt right welcome. Finally, there were great tips for our further trip. When we missed the bus just a little, he even drove it miles behind him, so we still get him.

Incredibly friendly people, great food, nice room in a beautiful rural setting. Sunil is a retired Sinharaja park guide who even took me to a nearby place to find a rare owl. So nice!!
