Hatton is a good transport hub for more popular destinations, but it’s also worth visiting as it has easy access to tea plantations, waterfalls, beautiful scenery and is a 1 hour, 30mins bus journey to Sri Pada/Adam’s peak. It’s a busy small city/town so it’s a good place to observe real local life and customs. It’s easy to take a stroll along paths through the nearby tea plantations.Guest review byRuthIreland

The meals are the best in all Sri Lanka, the room pleasant and very clean and the view magnificent. The hotel manager helped me organize my stay and negotiate the tuk tuk prices which were very reasonable. She’s full of ideas and little touches to make your stay comfortable!
