The Staff of Ellankanda Villa made our stay so very pleasent. The food was excellent(!) and we always felt very cared about. Rooms are very clean and you can tell that there is a sense of detail, which give the place its charme. It is a quite place, but you can nicely explore the area by yourself (or in our case we were even gives a small tour by the Staff - thank you again!). Absolut recommendation if you want to spend some quite days in a great place.

Impeccable service, from the warm welcome at the entrance to the attentive staff throughout our stay. Every detail was carefully considered, making it a truly unforgettable experience. The room was nice, had a nice comfortable sleep. The attention to cleanliness and comfort exceeded my expectations. Waking up to the sounds of birds was an added luxury you get here with natural surroundings. the unobstructed mountain view from my room was a perfect setting for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.

10/10 and more... The guest house is very nice, everything is new, clean, the room is specious, comfortable bed and a great shower! The view of the beautiful garden is just so calming, in 5min you can walk to the nearby beach and the local Buddhist temple. BUT the most beautiful thing about Sea Horizon is the family who runs it: they are the most amazing people... so kind, friendly, helpful and welcoming. I had a great stay, I will definitely come back here ❤️ Everyone took very good care of me, the ladies cook fantastic homemade meals, you'll love every breakfast and dinner, I promise! And the uncle is such a lovely man to chat to! A special thanks goes to Sana (owner's brother) who always helped me to explore the area and kept me company. 🙏

The hospitality and friendliness of the staff is just perfect! The food is great too. We started our holiday here and it was great to recover from the flight, you can also go for trips, we went to the Brief Gardens which was great, but there is more to explore, so you can definitely stay longer here.

Great room with a nice balcony with river view, good airco, nice shower, good bed. Friendly owner who offers a free transport to the other side of the lake, where you have access to the beautiful Ventura beach. This beach is easily one of the best beaches we have seen in Sri Lanka: unspoiled, tranquil, very nice zand, cute waves... just incredible! Make sure you get there to enjoy this still widely unknown hidden gem.

Absolutely the best property we have ever stayed at! From the location to the food to the service and to the overall experience! The facility is a must experience for anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life and slow down for a couple of days! I could share tons and tons of pictures of the property and it would still not do justice to the beauty of it. I would like to thank the staff for being so incredibly hospitable throughout our stay. When talking about our time in Sri Lanka, our one night in Bentota keeps coming up as one of the highlights of our trip. And this is because of the lovely people we met and the amazing time we had in Bentota. Chami Villa's host is the kindest and most generous person there is. Even though we only stayed one night, he invited us to his birthday party. We shared the table and the most amazing and the richest food with him, his family and other guests and it was the most fun night you can imagine. To be met with such amazing hospitality is truly special. A big thank you and if you ever come to Germany again, you are very much invited! The room is simple but clean, has everything you need and is even equipped with a mosquito net. If you stay, you will meet the nicest people, the loveliest dog and the best hospitality.

The place is amazing. Clean. On the beach. The beach was clean and sandy. Food delicious. Staff attentive. Several pools in the place. The spa was great. Hot and cold water. Ac. Welcoming drink was lemon with lemongrass. It was so delicious to the point that we ordered it again on dinner.
