I liked many things about Nuga Retreat. First of all, the beautiful, natural surroundings with mountain views created a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, providing convenience, and the outdoor pool was a great place to unwind. I also really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who truly made an effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

Location is awesome. Property is right next to a national park and the views are amazing from the balcony as well as the pool. Food was very fresh and lots of choices. Owners + staff are really friendly, had a great stay at this place. Would definitely recommend!!

This is a carefully designed small cottage. Compact but very comfortable. Out door sitting areas, stoned carved seats and bath tubs, swings, tree house nets. Kids loved it. We loved the peaceful nature and the calm environment.

This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in recently. We were warmly welcomed with a traditional drum & song routine performed by the wonderful staff. The room was so comfortable, had everything we needed and a full mini bar included in the rate. The hotel facilities were great and absolutely spotless. The food was exceptional and the service outstanding. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to friends & family.

The house and the views on tea plantation are wonderful, the furniture and the decor are incredibly authentic! Everything is very clean and the place is comfortable. We appreciated the chance to chill and relax in the living room with a cup of tea kindly offered by the staff. The whole staff (from the manager to the chef) are extremely friendly and kind, they spolied us with free tea, coffee and delicious meals. I would definitely recommend staying there if you are going to visit nuwara Eliya area.

The best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka! The people were amazing, the rooms were beautiful, and the food was even better. We also did a hiking tour with the hotel’s guide, which was an incredible experience. We highly recommend staying for at least two days — it takes about two hours to drive up the mountain, and you’ll want a full day to explore the beautiful surroundings. Everything was amazing. We stayed in the suite, it was so beautiful, huge room and terrace with amazing views! The pictures don’t do justice to this place, it is way more beautiful. Our kids stayed in a normal room, it was small but comfortable and clean. The staff is simply wonderful, always ready do help and always kind and happy. The food was really, really good.

Great stay here, spacious room with a great balcony. For dinner they served a 3 course meal, well executed. Location is awesome, the view from the pool over the hills and valleys is wild and it wasn't far to Kandy City which I found a bit hectic, so it was nice to escape back to the more natural setting at the hotel. They had a naturalist here, who took us on a morning walk through the pekoe trail and imparted so much knowledge of the local plant & wildlife. Will definitely stay here again and will recommend to my friends travelling through Sri Lanka.

I love this place and people here, the owners are the most amazing people, they helped me with everything, I felt at home here. The rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious. The food is fantastic, they have their own restaurant where you can order anything, anytime. The surroundings are amazing, there is a river where you can refresh yourself. The accommodation is located near tea plantations, waterfalls in Ramboda and the surroundings are beautiful! I highly recommend!
