An incredibly well made complex, the Mountain View rooms are amazing and right next to the main dining area. The buildings are modern brutalist build and is impressively designed to combine with the nature that surrounds it. Food is of superb quality and all staff are extremely professional but still really friendly and approachable, this extends to every single member of staff, regardless of their roles.

This was truly a special and unforgettable stay. The place is simple yet absolutely stunning – a beautiful structure immersed in greenery, with breathtaking views over the mountains. A real hidden gem where nature and peace surround you completely. The owner is a wonderful person, incredibly kind and welcoming. He’s also a wildlife photography enthusiast – and truly talented! I honestly believe he should publish his work – his shots are amazing. Dinner was delicious and beautifully prepared, and the whole team was so kind and thoughtful. They even waited for us until late, as my girlfriend wasn’t feeling well, just so we could still enjoy our meal when she felt better. That kind of care is rare to find. A magical place with beautiful people. We left with full hearts (and full bellies!). Highly, highly recommended.

Getting there by private car was a challenge, google maps is simply not accurate. Best way is to contact resort before. The team is outstanding, booked only a day before and they managed to make us feel at home. Will come back for sure

I loved everything, especially the owners, Pearl and Ranjan. They treated us like their own children—they are truly wonderful people. The breakfast was delicious; Pearl is an amazing cook, and Ranjan joined us for a walk around the area. If we ever return to Matale, this will undoubtedly be our stop again. Thank you for everything. We loved the hospitality of the staff and management. They were very gracious and made sure that all our wants were met. Everybody was so generous with their time and made sure we felt at home. Actually, this is a home more than a hotel! The location is marvellous, with magnificiant views. Sunsets are an absolute thrill. At night, the stars are so bright and vivid, away from all the light pollution around urban areas.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The place is truly fantastic and the price is very reasonable compared to the quality. The food was delicious and offered a great variety. The staff were so kind, helpful, and always made me feel welcome. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well organized. I definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back again!
