Srimal and his family were so friendly and helpful. They showed me where everything was and how it all worked. This is an amazing guesthouse, very nicely decorated and clean, and the price is fantastic. I had the whole villa to myself, but it would be great for a family or two couples. Dodanduwa Beach is only a short walk away and Hikkaduwa is very accessible by Tuk tuk, cab or bus. I liked it so much I stayed an extra night and would use agin if in the area.

A fantastic place right by the ocean. The hotel staff, along with the hotel manager and the hotel's four-paw manager, made us feel right at home from the very moment our car pulled up to the entrance. Dodanduwa is actually a village, not a town. Most of the buildings are located along the road. Those looking for peace and beautiful beaches will find it all in this area. Good local food, however, is closer to Hikkudawa.
