Olinda Galle is a small, super charming, very well located hotel just a 20 min from Galle center. The rooms are very spacious and cozy, the baths which were built to incorporate nature are a true privilege experience. The delicious breakfast, served on the terrace area outside of the room is also a highlight . The owner and host is super kind and attentive. Every minute of our stay was truly special. Unbeatable location in Hikkaduwa! The two main surf breaks are right at your doorstep. Breakfast included is amazing, actually everything on the menu is incredible. Staff were super friendly and very accommodating. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. We stayed here twice on our trip and decided on the King Room with Sea View for our second stay (first stay was Garden View) both rooms were lovely but can’t beat the Sea View room. Sun beds by the beach were an extra bonus! Loved our multiple stays here.

Beautiful colonial building with nice gardens. The rooms are beautiful and the staff are so attentive and helpful. Was the perfect choice after a busy 10 days travelling around Sri Lanka. They upgraded me to a better room which was very kind.

Amazing experience staying here. Every little detail is nicely thought out. Beautiful room and very clean. Great bed. Staff were kind and helpful. Delicious breakfast. Location is excellent. A little 5 min walk to main street and maybe 7-8 to the beach

Location is perfect. The only hotel in the beach, there is no one a couple of kilometers each side. For comparison, if you go to Unawatuna you will see the difference, the very negative one. Service. The staff is very nice. Restaurant food is gorgeous. Have compared it with the best restaurants in Galle. Beach and view from the balcony are very nice.
