What a little paradise! The lovely host created a beautiful place to relax and feel at home. Spacious, clean and very well equipped rooms, especially considering the low prices. Also the garden is beautiful and very well taken care of. We stayed there for a week, reading at the pool and enjoying the beach, which is a 1 min walk away. Great breakfast and the restaurant offering italian dishes was a welcome change to all the rice and curry.

Great view. Good surf for intermediate/ beginner. Clean beach about 1 km long. Not as touristy as some beaches. Ate the Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner and the curries were some of the best we have had. Generous servings too. Our room was large and the bed comfortable. Sitting on the balcony in the comfortable chairs was lovely. Would book again.

I stayed at Royal Villa Polhena as a solo female traveler from Russia and had a wonderful experience. The villa is clean, quiet, and just a few minutes’ walk from Polhena Beach, with friendly and helpful hosts who made me feel completely safe. It’s close to the highway and bus stop, and Madiha Beach and The Doctor's House are within walking distance. I would highly recommend this villa to solo travelers excellent value for money ! 🙌🙌

Our stay at Dikwella Dream Villa was absolutely wonderful and highly recommended for any traveler. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly welcoming, greeting us with a delicious cup of strong Ceylon tea that made us feel right at home. We stayed in a non-AC room, which was exceptionally clean and surprisingly airy; it never felt suffocating and provided a very comfortable night's sleep. The breakfast was a definite highlight, offering an incredible variety of items to choose from. Most importantly, as two girls traveling together, we felt completely safe and secure, even when walking around the area at midnight. It is a beautiful, hospitable place that truly cares for its guests.

We really loved our stay in Ferola. Everything was new, super clean and comfortable. The staff was really attentive, friendly and polite. The swimming pool and lounge area are big and not too crowded. The pool is clean. The food was great as well. It’s located in a rather quiet area, but there are still many restaurants and bars nearby. I would recommend renting a scooter for easy access to different beaches on both sides of the coastline. A bigger shopping street is about 10 minutes away on foot. I would definitely recommend it for a relaxing and stress-free stay.
