This property had a beautiful view from a big balcony. It was very quiet and peaceful. The rooms were clean with a fan, beds were comfortable, the staff were helpful & friendly. It was a convenient place to stay while walking the Pekoe Trail. We walked to town for food but it is possible to arrange to there!

Beautiful accommodation and a friendly, helpful owner! We felt very comfortable. Very clean room, very comfortable bed, and a beautiful view! The ride to the hotel was an adventure in itself; it's amazing what tuktuk drivers can do. The free tuktuk service to and from the city center was so nice. The only thing that bothered us was some loud work/noise outside beginning around 7am in the morning. Depart from that it was really quiet, and all we could hear was just nature! We can recommend this hotel to everyone, we really enjoyed our stay :)

I had a good experience at this hotel. The location was perfect and the room was comfortable. What really made my stay special was the staff – they were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always had a smile on their faces. Whether it was at the front desk or in the restaurant, I felt very welcome and well taken care of. Especially Ms. Dissanayake at the reception was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

The entirely wooden home was an amazing sight and the view was even better. We arrived in the evening and woke up to a spectacular sight hearing the river/waterfalls down below. Absolutely stunning. The family that runs Wood Palace is amazing and has been great in accommodating us with anything we needed during our stay, first making arrangements for me as I was planning to propose to my girlfriend and later whilst our son got sick. The amazing starry nights from the balcony and fireflies lighting up the view topped it off. It’s located a little outside of Ella (5min drive) which made it very peaceful and quiet. The owner has a TukTuk and can bring you anywhere you need very quickly. Would definitely recommend! Thank you for a very memorable stay

Incredible stay! Peaceful in front of the valley and tea plantations ! We just stayed 2 nights and was close enough to town only 10 min walking or 5 min tuktuk and you can find easily on pickme or the host can help you! We had a fantastic tuktuk driver! Superbe view for sunset sunrise and breakfast! We took the suite to be more cosy as nuwara can be cold/rainy! The room has AC, very well furnished good bathroom, very good breakfast, one of the best of our trip in srilanka! And most importantly incredible staff, very nice, welcoming warm and helpful! Thank you!!

The view from the room is really so unique and refresh everyday , the breakfast is so delicious , perfect breakfast, we could use the kitchen of the hôtel to cook our food , so nice and healthy environnement. Mr Chaminda (owner of the hôtel) he is à great man and always available for everything , he is the most strong point of this hôtel, we will come back again, is highly recommanded and high quality of price , we liked everything.

It was the best stay we had in Sri Lanka! The hotel looks even better in real than at the pictures. The staff is incredible, freidnly and helpful, soo lovely people🙏 Waking up with the view from the window and having delicious breakfast in the open restaurant is sooo magical. Moreover the hotel is located pretty close to the centrum (especially by tuk tuk). Highly highly recommended!
