I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Colombo. The rooftop is definitely a highlight – the city view at night is absolutely stunning and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, and I really enjoyed the authentic Sri Lankan dinner they served. The location couldn’t be better: it’s just behind the beautiful Gangaramaya Temple and within walking distance to many of Colombo’s main attractions like Galle Face Green, Viharamahadevi Park, and the Colombo Museum. They also offer a very convenient airport transfer service, which made my arrival and departure stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Colombo!

We had the most wonderful stay at Grannie’s House Villa. The villa is beautifully maintained, with thoughtfully designed interiors and modern fittings that make it both stylish and comfortable. Every corner of the space felt inviting, and it was clear that great care has gone into keeping it in perfect condition. We especially enjoyed the games and recreational touches, which added such warmth and fun to our stay. It truly felt like a home away from home! a lovely space to relax and create lasting memories. Highly recommended!

The villa is very spacious, clean & comfortable. The staff were very helpful. We all loved the garden and the pool was amazing. Both bedrooms have private bathrooms which made it very comfortable for the kids. Loved the place!

They sat down with us, maps in hand, and laid out detailed, insider tips on what to see and which hidden gems most travelers miss. They even suggested ideas for future trips beyond this stay—talk about going the extra mile! The villa itself is spot-on: the pool is crystal-clear and perfect for lazy afternoons, the bed is wonderfully comfy (we slept like babies), and the shower has proper hot water with excellent pressure—exactly what you want after a day of exploring.
