We spent five wonderful days in this amazing place. The rooms were very nice, with a beautiful sea view. The breakfasts were delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The surf school was excellent, with a fantastic instructor. There was no problem with having a later breakfast due to surfing lessons. Additionally, there were options to book extra trips or take a tuk-tuk ride. We would love to come back again!

Our stay at Villa Kaya was perfect. The property itself was lovely, the rooms were big, spacious and clean with very comfy beds. The pool area was well kept, clean and relaxing. All of the staff at Villa Kaya including the night time security was amazing, so friendly and helpful. We seen lots of wildlife around, and the staff give you food to feed the local wild monkeys. Every day the property was cleaned, you see the staff working hard all day keeping everywhere in great condition. It is a good location, couple of minute walk to the main road, 5 minutes to the turtle beach. We loved our stay and will hopefully be back in the future.

The food at the restaurant was simply amazing—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The live music in the evenings created a wonderful atmosphere, making every dinner a special experience. A highlight of our stay was the unique opportunity to release newborn turtles into the ocean—a truly magical and memorable moment. Thank you to the entire team at Riff Hikkaduwa for making our last stop in Sri Lanka so special. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect beach getaway!

Peter's breakfasts are next level!! we stayed for 8 days and everyday was a different option! the hosts, Peter & Glenda are friendly and accommodating - making us feel right at home. The property is situated away from the main road, providing a quiet space, but not too far from the beaches and town when going down there.
