First and foremost was the view, especially from the swimming pool. You can see three mountain ranges. One cannot believe that one is only one hour away from Kandy. Then the staff, was extremely helpful, especially the restaurant staff. I will specially like to pick out Namal. He really went out of his way to make sure everything was cooked properly as my wife had a bad stomach.

An incredibly well made complex, the Mountain View rooms are amazing and right next to the main dining area. The buildings are modern brutalist build and is impressively designed to combine with the nature that surrounds it. Food is of superb quality and all staff are extremely professional but still really friendly and approachable, this extends to every single member of staff, regardless of their roles.

Retreat Luxury Eco Resort in Kandy. From the warm welcome to the exceptional hospitality, everything was top-notch. The owner, Chaminda, personally welcomed us and escorted us to the property, which was such a thoughtful gesture. During our stay, we enjoyed two amazing treks and had the most refreshing bath in the natural waterfall pool – a truly unforgettable experience! The food was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. This place is a true gem, and I would recommend it a thousand times over!

The green Castle has one of the most beautiful views in the world and by far the best we saw in Sri Lanka. It is small family run business to a very high standards. Unfortunately we only had one night at the hotel. We were treated to the most amazing dinner which were superb. The food kept coming and to be honest we didn't do it justice. The room was amazing and beautiful decorated out. Breakfast was again equally delicious as dinner with more than enough food to feed and army. Greetings to the hotel was and experience - our guide was unsure our vehicle would manage the terrain so he contacted the hotel and Randika met us to ensure we were okay. I strongly recommended if you visit Sri Lanka and in the kandy area make a point of staying at this hotel - You won't be disappointed

Getting there by private car was a challenge, google maps is simply not accurate. Best way is to contact resort before. The team is outstanding, booked only a day before and they managed to make us feel at home. Will come back for sure

What a villa. Just woow..it was full of experience here. I was not expecting a high quality service from here. The experience i had here is unbelievable. The rooms were very clean calm and quiet. I really liked the hotel because it was clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and made sure I had a comfortable stay. The breakfast had many options, including fresh fruits, bread, and warm dishes. The food was delicious, and I enjoyed it every morning. The location was also very good because it was near shopping areas and public transport. It was easy to go to different places from the hotel.
