We loved everything here. Very charming property by the beach with really beautiful furnitures and very comfortable. The staff is amazing, they are caring, they do everything for you to feel good and have the best experience. They spot every detail for you. The chef deserves a micheline star. The food experience was delicious. It is the perfect place to recharge. Thank you to the staff of kalkudah beach house for making this place a wonderful moment for us.

The great customer service at this hotel impressed me. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door. Spotlessly clean rooms with comfortable beds and Amazing location, close to all the main attractions. Delicious foods with a great variety. The location is good , there is a parking lot inside , the house is spacious and has everything u need, even the host was very kind to us and we used washing machine. The place has a TV , living room , two bedrooms , kitchen , WI FI , so really we were happy to stay , thanks

The location is very calm and quiet. The apartment is surrounded by a nice garden. The apartment is very clean and modern. The entire staff took extremely good care of me and has assisted me with any kind of request (from booking a Tuk Tuk/bike, to preparing very reach and tasty breakfast/lunches/dinners). They were very nice and gentle.

Juda was very welcoming, showed us all there is to do around the area, breakfast was delicious, omelette with fresh fruit juice, toast and tea. The villa is just a short walk to the beach, you can rent bikes from there to see the town. Beds were good and toilet clean and tidy.

Batticaloa is very good city, peaceful, less traffic, sort of more rural touch as compared to Colombo. People are also very cooperative and helpful in all ways. Its a small town. The beach is also very neat and clean. There are many local restaurants and hotel. We can find good food there.

Batticaloa was warm and humid, but that is more than made up for by its breathtaking beauty and abundant seafood. The town is exceptionally clean, surrounded by water, and radiates a serene charm. Pasikudah, in particular, took our breath away. With its pristine beaches and tranquil waters, it’s nothing short of amazing—a true gem on the eastern coast.

The location of the hotel was quiet and located only 200m from the beach. The room was equipped basically but with everything you need. It was clean. The cordial couple running the hotel were always friendly, helpful and courteous. All requests regarding transportation, travel advice and extra requests were fulfilled immediately. We would come back at any time.

A quiet guest house in a nice area of Batticaloa. A lovely coffee shop within the walking distance just over the bridge (Mandalas Cafe). There is a communal kitchen which was very useful for us as a family. The owner let us store milk and cold food in his fridge.

Staff very friendly, nice area to chill/have some drinks/eat. We were just passing through Batticaloa for one night so we booked last minute, we were very pleasantly surprised with the great vibe. Great for the price.
