The hotel is very modern and clean. The pool was also very clean and offers a great view over the countryside. We had the same beautiful view from the balcony of the room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were a little sick when we arrived so the staff provided us with tea and medicine. We would choose this hotel again on our next trip. Thank you very much for the good time!

Everything was wonderful, the location is breathtaking, staff are incredibly warm and helpful, food was great, the pool is stunning and did some yoga watching the sunrise just next to it. Only time I’ve ever had a room with two panoramic views, one of the sunrise and one of the sunset!

What an amazing place! Everything was superb. From the incredible staff who anticipated my every need, to the delicious food and the variety of activities in the area. I was truly surprised by how wonderful the place was. The property is not only perfect for those who appreciate comfort, but also for those looking to explore the nearby cultural sights. Beautiful welcome from Kamal, he guided us from the town so we wouldn’t get lost. He made us dinner and a wonderful breakfast. Such amazing hospitality! He even gifted me some fresh and dried pepper that he’d grown himself. Thank you again, I’d love to come visit again next time I’m in Sri Lanka and enjoy the beautiful view from the property and the pool again.

Very nice ambiance. Old kolonial style but very neat and well maintained. Only 5 rooms, so very cosy. Large rooms with nice beds. Great view on the surrounding hills. Very kind personel. Fast responding to my changing plans and questions. Good price for a nice rice and curry dinner.

We arrived to the W15 Ambulawawa on our first day of our Sri Lankan adventure. After a long day of driving we arrived in the afternoon to paradise. Greeted warmly by the kind Achini and Amila our stay began perfectly with a dip in the stunning infinity pool. Sunset can be viewed from the special sunset deck the perfect place to unwind and chill - simply spectacular. Every care was given to us by Yapa who catered to our every need. Dinner and breakfast were delicious thank you Sanjiwa and Yapa. We walked to the Ambulawawa tower from there, a steep short climb - perfect before the big breakfast we were served. Can't wait to reccomend to our friends To be honest, we would rate 11 but it's not an option.

The hotel is in the most beautiful location! An amazing experience to wake up in the morning and see the river flowing surrounded by all the beautiful trees. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed. The food is good, and it’s great that they offer personal adjustments upon request. But most importantly – the staff was incredible!!! They gave us everything we needed, always smiled, and truly just wanted us to have the best time. The family who owns the hotel is lovely and does everything they can to make the experience as perfect as possible. If you’re looking for a slightly different hotel with breathtaking views – this is the one for you!
