What a stunning, peaceful hotel. From the moment we arrived we instantly relaxed and unwound after lots of sightseeing and travelling in the south of the island. The owner is really helpful and friendly and likes to have a talk with all the guests. He also helped us with our itinerary and to plan the activities we wanted to do. The whole place is really nice setup and the pool is great. It was also fun to see monkeys up in the trees.

The Cottage is beautiful, they have curated such a perfect space, with only a handful of bungalows on site you get to really enjoy the garden and pool area in peace. The room was so clean with a very effective mosquito net. The food was also a 10/10, we enjoyed a delicious and authentic Sri Lankan breakfast each morning (continental is also an option). The staff were so hospitable and friendly, special thank you to Bianca who took us on a lovely bike ride to a nearby lake!

The hotel is located in the center of Sigiriya, very close to Lion Rock and Pidurangala. There are many restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The pool and the general atmosphere of the hotel are very nice. The staff work hard to keep everything clean. The room was comfortable, the bed was very cozy, and the veranda was a great place to relax.
