Nice resort, in the middle of nowhere but ideally located if you arrive or depart from negombo. Very nice staff, he made me feel comfortable and welcome. The dinner and breakfast were also nice and the natural pool looks stunning. The rooms are very big.

It is a really comfortable and well-equipped house in the jungle with singing birds outside, not so far from the road. It's cool and chill place with comfortable bed and pillows. The owner is very kind man, his sister is the best! They delivered us local food from the restaurant and we didn't have to go out, so nice! They did their best for our good rest! Thank you!

Rosyth Estate is a wonderful little hotel in the middle of nowhere. The team was extremely welcoming and did go above and beyond, even though we only stayed there for one night. Special kudos to the best chicken curry we had ever!

The entire team were so friendly and helpful during our stay. Everyone is so passionate and knowledgeable, we loved the spice tour and the ayurvedic massages! The room was spotless and the food was delicious. One of our favourite ever holidays.

This is an absolut gem! Absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend this place. Unfortunately we stayed only one night, I wish we could have stayed longer. The apartments are situated between a lot of trees and plants, looks very jungle like. I loved that you could hear sing a lot of birds between the trees. The rooms were incredibly beautiful, spacious and very clean. We arrived pretty late and hadn’t eaten yet. Although the chef was not there that night they managed to arrange great dinner for us. Staff were so eager to make us feel welcome - we felt like coming home. I hope to return some day.

Lovely clean room, personal service and great food

Ruwanara Royal Majestry is by far the best hotel in the Kurunegela district and one of the best in Sri Lanka! It is a hidden gem and I cannot emphasis how much I enjoyed my stayed here !! To start off with the rooms are more specious than you can ever imagine, it is bigger than the photos ! The beds are extremely luxurious and big, the bathroom is so large and you have enough room to store all your toiletries. Next the room itself is equipped with a big wardrobe, iron and ironing boards, mini fridge and even a nice private study area for relaxation or business work. The staff, are the epitome of Sri Lankan hospitality! From the beginning we were made to feel very welcome into this property and with open arms they made our stay the best stay ever ! This is my home away from home and next time I am in Sri Lanka, I will stay here and will be recommending this hotel to all our family and friends as well! Special thanks to Kavindu, Amila, Anura, chef Priyantha for catering to our every need and making us feel like royalty with their treatment !! They were so kind and I will never forget their hospitality as this kind of quality and service is extremely rare to find ! The property itself is tucked away behind some beautiful paddy feels and our room overlooked the most amazing pool which is cleaned daily! The pool itself we have been in several times and it is clean and extremely refreshing on the warmer days. When we weren’t in the pool we were in the comfort of the AC’d hotel room, watching TV or sleeping on the comfy beds. A perfect holiday! Ruwanara is one of a kind and you won’t find a hotel like this anywhere in Sri Lanka or surrounding areas. We saw many magnificent weddings taking place and we learnt it caters up to 450 person weddings and can accomodate guests with rooms as well! I have recommended this hotel to all my family for any of their upcoming weddings as I think the service and location is just perfect !! I cannot wait to be back.

The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We had a late arrival due to a delayed flight and he was so accommodating and woke up at very early hours to check us in. He also allowed us to stay later than check in to catch up on some sleep. He cooked us a lovely lunch and arranged our transport, very resourceful!
