Absolutely beautiful place with an incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful, making the experience truly special. A massive shoutout to the amazing manager, Tina, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect! Every detail of this unique stay has been carefully thought through. From the beautifully designed spaces to the great service, it’s clear that a lot of care and passion has gone into making this place extraordinary. Beautiful accomodation with spacious rooms. We met the owners who were very welcoming and hospitable. We travelled with a large group and everyone enjoyed their stay here. We enjoyed using the ice baths as well.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. Kasun and his great team really made it special. From beginning to the end everything was taken well care of and in perfect order. The food is delicious! We had dinner both nights and it was perfect. The breakfast is stunning and served in the most scenic location. The room is airy, pretty designed and the bed is comfy. It feels like a vip experience with only 4 rooms and the pool is breathtaking too. We hope to come back another time! 😍

Let me start by saying that the staff went over and beyond during our stay (and post-stay experience). We had a mishap at a nearby city and the staff promptly came down and provided us with support to get us out of a blunder. We also left an item behind when we proceeded to our next hotel, and they travelled 2 hours to courier the item to us. Really beyond thankful. Wonderful breakfast spread and dinner on request, and we also met the owner who was a generous host. The pool was impeccably clean and the room was spacious and comfortable.

Ahangama is so peaceful - it's slightly away from the busier areas around the coast. The restaurants around are in great locations, and all very calm with great vibes. It's also very easy and quick to get to neighbouring towns to visit sites, or restaurants in those locations as well.

We actually stayed in Kabalana which is just 25 min walk or...

We actually stayed in Kabalana which is just 25 min walk or 5 min tuk tuk drive from Ahangama. It was the right decision as Ahangama was twice as busy and Kabalana beach was way better. Restaurants near us were really nice too and with the most famous night club in Sri Lanka called Trax round the corner!

Ahangama is great for surfing, restaurants and social life!

Ahangama is great for surfing, restaurants and social life! There are some weekly parties in town and a lot of solo travellers which can be met on social hostels, all around the town and at the beach. Loved Ahangama and it gave me very homey feeling, came back after seen the island a bit more!

This place was little paradise! 🤗Very calm small butique resort with lovely personal. I enjoy every breakfast! 😊 I like very calm relax atmoshere. Every morning I do joga in the garden house. People from Panta Rei was really nice, always smiling. Very quickly service! 👍 I will miss this place. I feel like home. Recomend to everybody. 🤗 Best acomodation during our trip in Sri Lanka. Sea and beautiful beach are just 5 minutes walk. City is by tuk tuk about 4-5 minutes.

Heaven! The location is beautiful right in the cinnamon plantation - so it’s very private The cabins are impressive - you can see the top quality of the build. The creativity and little touches made this place really special. The outdoor bathroom was gorgeous. Food and host were great! One of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka Location was away from the busy town but within a good distance to access by scooter. Tuktuk around 500 to the beach. Loved it! Thankyou

Gorgeous oasis just a few minute walk from the beach. This hotell is quiet, beautiful and calm - perfect when you need to escape the otherwise busy streets of Sri Lanka, while still at the same time being close to everything. Rooms are beautiful and clean, staff is very friendly. I arrived around quite late and had no problems checking in.
