Michel the owner has renovated a 100+ year old family home into a wonderfully intriguing place to stay. The upper level of the Ottoman-style house retains it original decor and furnishings, including high painted ceilings. The guest rooms are downstairs, and accessible from the garden. Each is a vaulted stone cellar that used to house olive oil and provisions, and all have been uniquely and interestingly furnished. Our double room was beautifully lit and well laid out, with a large comfortable bed, and a small shower and bathroom ingeniously fitted into the corners. The thermostatically controlled heating register was also much appreciated, as it was a cold night in March when we stayed. Wifi was very weak, but this was not an issue (indeed, it was nice to be off-grid for a night). We enjoyed dinner in a restaurant a short walk away, and were pleased with the fresh fruit provided in our room (Stone Cellars does not offer breakfast). A small local supermarket is also located next door.

I like everything about that hotel. The location, the room, the services, the staff, the food. It’s just amazing, I felt comfortable on the big bed. La Maison Des Cedres is something special. It has been built as a labour of love and is beautifully designed. From the moment you arrive - you feel like you're in a special place. The location is nothing short of spectacular and the surrounding scenery is simply amazing. The rooms and entire hotel is designed and furnished exquisitely and we had a wonderful stay. Although it was cold outside - our rooms were cosy and warm. The bar and restaurant area is warm and classy with a beautiful fireplace and view across the nearby mountains. Petro the manager is one of the most friendly people and looked after us with great care. He went out of his way to ensure we had a wonderful stay and even went in his car to pick up some food from a nearby restaurant for us. We loved every minute of the stay and posted loads of pictures on Instagram and facebook! A memorable experience that we will not forget!

My wife and I had a truly delightful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the reception team greeted us warmly, making us feel instantly welcome. A highlight was the sweet gesture of the kunafa crepe, a delightful treat😋.The hotel's amenities were fantastic, and the room was both comfortable and clean with a stunning sea view. They have an amazing heated pool, steam room and sauna, perfect in the rainy cold weather... Highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and enjoyable stay. We can't wait to return!
