I had a truly memorable first night at this homestay in Laos. From the moment I arrived, the owner made me feel incredibly welcome with their warm and humble demeanor. They graciously invited me to join them for dinner, which was not only delicious but also a great way to experience local hospitality. Their assistance didn’t stop there—they went out of their way to help me find nearby food options and money exchange centers, making my stay much easier and more enjoyable. What stood out most was their empathy and understanding. When I mentioned I was short on cash, they kindly offered a discount, showing their genuine care for guests. This kind of thoughtful and accommodating service is rare and deeply appreciated, especially for someone visiting for the first time. I had a fantastic experience staying at this hotel! The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to assist with anything I needed. My room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day of exploring. The bed was cozy, and the room had everything I needed, including fast Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The hotel’s location is very convenient — close to local shops, attractions, and public transport. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, perfect for a restful stay. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and appreciated the excellent service and attention to detail. Pakse was not super interesting but the hotel - wow. The best staff, the room and hotel was so clean and comfortable. And the balcony and pool was brilliant. Best pillow I have for the last three months of travel.

    I enjoyed that everything was in walking distance. The local people are very nice and helpful. The local food was delicious, and the environment was a relaxing atmosphere. If you get lost any local would help you with directions or even take you to your destination. Pakse had many Buddhist monuments that you can walk into and explore and take pictures. Wonderful little city would like to come again.

    I loved the zipline over the Tad Fane Waterfall.

    I loved the zipline over the Tad Fane Waterfall. It was definitely worth the money. The waterfalls are a bit far away from each other on the loop. The sunset from the Buddha on the hill or from the side of the Mekong river is just magical.

    Pakse is probably one of the most beautiful places with...

    Pakse is probably one of the most beautiful places with really incredible people. We rented a bike, it was safe for us there are not many cars on the road and the ones on scooter drive safely. We rented the scooter via the hotel, drove the waterfalls and all around Paske.The have a great market, really good . restaurants

    Pakse is a small, dirty town without a clear center.

    Pakse is a small, dirty town without a clear center. Few good restaurants, and few people speak English. You have to have a scooter to get anywhere. There are interesting places in the area but not many of them are properly developed. Rather, their best years are behind them. On my next visit to Pakse would like to avoid Pakse city.

    Unfortunately I was only in Pakse for 1 night.

    Unfortunately I was only in Pakse for 1 night. The city has lots to do and lots to offer, however isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing. Many come here to do the Pakse loop which is supposed to be great.

    Pakse is slow and peaceful that is suitable for those who want to have a travel with slow-paced. Sitting and chilling on the banks of Mekong river where is the border between Laos and Thailand. You could feel the great of nature.

    We really enjoyed our stay at this guesthouse and all that Pakse has to offer. The owner Tina was very kind and welcoming, she shared a meal with us one night and it was great to connect with a local in this way. The room was our favourite in Laos and Tina suggested some beautiful local spots, look outs and waterfalls to visit.

    Great Christmas stay! Clean and spacious room. Good pool area. Hired a bike from the hotel which was a good service, also booked bus service from here to Don Det. Breakfast was fine, toast and cereal and fruit was fine for me. Some warm options but I didn't have those.

    Good hotel made even better by the great roof terrace bar and restaurant. Excellent stopping place to explore the Bolaven plateau avec livre on to Champasak. Don't miss the chance to meet Roberto from the travel agency attached to the hotel. A very interesting guy.

    A newly refurbished hotel and very well restored. Staff are absolutely lovely, very happy and keen to help. I have visited Pakse many times and, in my opinion, the best hotel I have stayed in in Pakse.
