FranceOne of the most beautiful places we stayed in Laos! We only spent one night there, but we would have stayed longer if we had the time.
The setting is peaceful, with the soothing sound of the river. There is no electricity or hot water in the rooms, but if you arrive in the afternoon, the cool shower is refreshing with good water pressure. For lighting, a solar-powered lantern is provided, and another solar light with a remote control works perfectly. WiFi and power outlets are available on the terrace, where meals are served, which is very convenient.
The place is easy to find—there’s a sign on the main road, followed by a slightly rough dirt path where you just need to drive slowly for a few minutes, but nothing difficult.
In the end, the lack of outlets and WiFi in the rooms (which I believe will change soon) is actually a plus—it encourages disconnection and an early night with nature. The family-cooked dinner was delicious, as was the included breakfast and tea.
Everything is well thought out, and the open view of nature from the rooms is stunning and relaxing. I highly recommend it to everyone and will book here first if I return!
Thank you again!
